Does it work the same for VOLTE? Or do I need the SIMBA Voice App to receive free incoming calls from Singapore when I'm overseas?
For destinations that supports VoLTE (only a few countries), you don't need SIMBA Voice if your device can connect to their VoLTE.

Else, u need SIMBA Voice app to make and receive calls.

The rate is the same for both native VoLTE and SIMBA Voice app, at least for calls to Singapore (+65) and incoming calls from anywhere.

pardon me. i am inactive here. not sure what do u mean, okay to share more? thx
Heya, Maxx and GeeNet are all deprioritized service to cater to those super budget conscious.

You'll be placed near the last when it comes to the "queue", so it'll be way more sluggish compared to many other customers in the same network.

SIMBA doesn't have any MVNO agreements and don't seem to implement prioritization for now, so you're getting full service in your area.

I am probably suaku … VoLTE only matters for voice calls right? But for data it’s still as normal yes? I can use a $5 senior plan SIM in a tablet right?

Yes can as long as it support LTE band 8 and 40.

Slow full speed that works, compared to full slow speed that requires constant airplane mode (even on heya), which one is better?!

$5 Senior Plan no horse run, but for the rest of us on $10, there’s a lot of choice in the market now, Simba might not be the best for all.
true...topup with some shopee coins...about $3.50 only for senior plan....I top-up for my elderly relative

Will simba still be active after 21 days of expiry? Can still top up after that?

It's odd that Samsung and Apple phones can't connect to 5G. Wouldn't it be ideal to widely trial test their network with these two largest brands rather than the more obscure Vivo phones?

Probably they're testing with Samsung too but they ain't as responsive.

Apple ah... The issue about money first has been affecting SIMBA's ability to even get iOS carrier profile support, let alone supporting 5G.
This one really is nobody to blame other than Tim Cook liao.

In kyoto now, simba works well, surfing speed ok. Lucky my mother got her senior $5 Simba also. Total 1 + 1 gb.

Volte also working, normal phone calls between us working, no charges.

No choice now, stupid qoo10 Japan data card not working well. Funny at some places qoo10 card got low reception, but when i needed transport directions information at train or bus stop not working.

Roaming data left after 1/4 day + 1 full day, mostly on Google map, email, WhatsApp, occasionally on hwz forum using opera mini

to save data, turn off the auto-update in google play store.

for google map, save the area map when you are in wifi coverage.
