I added my CC payment when I signed up online. That added CC Payment would become the monthly recurrence payment method.

I'm not sure if you can add in CC payment detail now by going to > "Profile" and "Payment Details"? :unsure:Login and give it a try. Else, call SIMBA hotline tomorrow to help you to do so.

Can be done, can even change the card you want to use there. But seems like must use web and not their app.

Walked down to their shop to do port in.
Was currently using myRepublic. Line was deactivated after 12am but waited 24 hours still not activated on TPG side.

Customer service replied failed because they do not know what service provider my existing Telco is using. WTF.

So what now? I can only provide my Telco name and obviously they must know better than me what backend their competitors using. So critically i have no phone line now until i can go down to shop. As i'm concerned online CS will attempt the same and fail again two days later.

Any suggestions?

****** up incompetent company.

MyRepublic have MyRepublic-M1 or MyRepublic-StarHub.

You've to be clear about this.

This is not SIMBA/TPG problem, this is MyRepublic problem alr.

They keep flip flop until everyone is confused.

Come on, so its either one or the other.

If the port in failed, simply try the other immediately. End of story.

Not let the port in fail for a full working day and when i checked with CS, tell me to research for them.

Already told them i have no CS access as account deactivated, tell me walk into any myrepublic physical store to ask. And what happens if i was provided wrong info?

Anyone port over from contract plan before? Want see if any suggestion.

For e.g. if my current contract with giga/circles ends on 31/3/23. Usually how to ensure smooth port over with additional charges?

1/4/23 usually they charge for another month right? if i port out on 3/4/23, that month's fee is forfieted. Porting out 1 week earlier than 31/3/23. would need to pay penalty also i guess.

Any suggestion on this situation?

I really think you think of it being easy peasy.

The issue here is, this is all PDPA.

The CSO can't see why it failed until someone told them to check.

Also, don't say automated scripts would help.

MyRepublic has made everyone's life hard by flip flopping.

If approval from MyRepublic passed, it would auto assume that the donor Telco is StarHub.

If yours is M1 side, it is on you to specify that it is M1 Singapore.

Approval doesn't come from StarHub or M1 directly if you submit as MyRepublic, therefore it might not be possible for SIMBA to know which network it was on previously.

Contract plan refers to Big Three?

Giga/CL doesn't have contract.

giga has no contract . You can port out anytime before they charge the following month’s fee.

What penalty are you referring to when you already consumed 3 weeks of the month you paid earlier? ;)

It was actually easily resolved just as i believed it should be.

Subsequently I replied them to sort it out themselves as i cannot provide the info they wanted. And its becoming urgent.

I gave no further info.

Subsequently i received a new port in submission notice and its working now.

Let's recognize responsibilities and not babysit them needlessly, or it will only perpetuate the problems to others. Imagine the elderly encountering this and the run round they will be given.

We are making payments to TPG, its not a free service.

When u face a network problem, you will encounter the frustration. Hope that you can get what you get it now. But I doubt so.

Is it case-sensitive? Or use TPG or tpg also the same?

Not trying to shield them, they're also in the wrong for putting MyRepublic without specifying which one.

Even if specifying, I won't be surprised if there's people that don't know if it's StarHub or M1. Yet another problem to resolve.

But the wrong is more towards MyRepublic imo.

Initially was StarHub, then suddenly switch most people to M1, then now with 5G plans back to StarHub.

They really have to make up their mind regarding this before they piss off customers that wants to port out.

You're not the first and probably not the last to face this issue.

Is SIMBA now on 5G or are they still running on 4G, what bands are they running on if it’s 5G?
