Anyone recently sign up TPG $10 plan, and what are the numbers on offer? Is the numbers golden enough?

TPG also has golden number offered?

Besides, No update From any TPG trial users today. Can you guys still use the SIM card?

I am getting the TPG SIM card from my sis tmr so I can enjoy the unlimited data again. Haha.

The possibility of the delay to suspending /cancellation maybe due to confusion because of the VHA-TPG merger which kicked Tuas Mobile?? I may be wrong..let's see

Opted to cancel, still going strong

good. tomorrow get back a TPG trial sim to continue again my free usage of 2GB/unlimited 1Mbps per day. continue to use 10GB/day. haha.

i dun think so.

people can even register for a new sim under the new plan $10 50GB now. I even saw facebook got trial plan users asking why their plan are not switched to the $10 50GB plan yet.

remembered sometime back i say this will happen and you insisted that it would not now it really happens.

They have the system to do but again for the existing trial plans users below are still on following
1) submited plan switching request on website to switch to $10 50GB - still on trial plan now
2) submited termination request after 30 May 2020 on website - still on trial plan now
3) never do anything - still on trial plan now.
only those who have ported out their TPG trial plan number to other telcos - no longer on trial plan now. :(

If you port out of cos not on trial plan! How to he on trial plan if you actually port out or canceled the plan???

Anyway people who sign up for tpg only pay first $10. Tpg yet to auto charge for the following month. The whole team is missing.

Hope that helps to clear your doubt.

I believe there is quite a lot of spare capacity at TPG hence it is taking its own time to terminate the free trial. However eventually, all the free trial subscriptions will be terminated if they are not contracted on the $10 plan.

let's bet to see how 'soon' is the eventually.

my bet is that it will still be long long long long long long time to go before it comes. maybe can be counted for forever will not be terminated. haha.

without delay, getting the TPG trial plan sim card from my sis tmr to continue my 10GB/day journey. haha.

TPG full bars indoor.

1Mbps at full speed always. haha.

Actually is good they keep providing free, with throttled speed at 1mbps after a certain limit. Then everyone can continue to use their line and provide feedback for trouble shooting purposes. Not only that, free trial users can spread the word via social media, forums etc that TPG's reception is improving.

In a previous post, I read from a trial user, that MRT underground in a certain line has improved and there is now reception when previously there wasn't any.

This is actually very good advertisement for them. Let the trial users spread the word.

Not sure if it will be forever. But hopefully at least until they can be a serious competitor to the big 3. Once the word spreads especially from trial users, that their coverage is good, they wiil be a competitor to the big 3. If they can last that long which I hope they do. The big 3 had a head start of a few decades. Will take some time for TPG to catch up.

When the big 3 launched mobile services decades ago, coverage was bad too as they were new. But given time, they managed to install more base stations to improve coverage to a satisfactory level. TPG experiencing growing pains like them.

Only difference, was the Big 3 then did not enter a saturated market with already established mobile telcos. They were the pioneers. So it was pioneers against pioneers.

But TPG entered late into a saturated market against big established telcos. Going to have to lose money before turning in profits.
