Thanks.

But what I meant on the 2nd part was, since the lines are all under my name (for easy management and payment), the lines that my parents are using would not qualify for seniors plan since they are not applying directly under their name.

I checked their past monthly usage, and they barely go above 10gb. So I think we are good with $10 100gb (and drop to 50gb after July 2023).

Although I am having second thoughts on having them port to ZYM to get Singtel coverage since they barely go overseas. I signed up for SIMBA earlier this afternoon as I want the 40gb roaming to Malaysia.

If I do not go to other regional countries, will all 50gb be available for use in Malaysia? like 10+40gb or just 40gb?

Correct, must be under their name to qualify.

Most likely the 100gb will extend due to competition. Always good to have 100gb rather 50gb, in case they over watch videos.

If u always go JB, then SIMBA Superroam 30 days is a good choice.

If only used in Malaysia, yes total 50gb roaming data. i am on this plan as well because I travel in frequently also. I do not have to worry about exceeding the data, use until song song gao jurong.

Just so happen I stay in juuuloooong lol!

I got the $30 (1st 90 days) plan, and $39 every 90 days going forward.
which means 1st 3 mths $10/mth and subsequently $13/mth

I will upgrade to the $20 per mth if I need that much data in Malaysia but so far I only envisage going 1 to 2 times a month.

Will test out when I visit Philippines and Qatar in September and December.

Also, on another related note regarding 5G, I hope to be able to use this if possible. Do we still get the ability to request from SIMBA or just have to wait since the section has been removed from the FAQ recently?
for 5G on iPhone, it's pure luck. A few ppl in this thread says can get. For me cannot. Asked their customer service, they say there's no switch at their side, so pure luck

Hi, I'm a PHV driver. Mobile network is very important for me. May I know, how stable is SIMBA network now? Any PHV driver can share their experience? Thank you.

Went to Taipei and Japan just, the roaming works perfectly.

As of now, Malaysia, new Zealand ,Taiwan and Japan works perfectly. At least for me.

Ya! Free Roaming Data is the major selling point for SIMBA in competition with other Telcos/MVNOs! SIMBA has to get it right. Else.... 😷

In fact, SIMBA has been very nice in every departments as far as I'm concerned for the past 1 year!

Its speed is slower but the slower speed does not affect the normal usages of a mobile phone, and that its coverage is quite good and stable! Lets alone the generous and the best free roaming data and good-priced PPU among all telco/MVNOs in Singapore. (y)(y)(y)

When the time is right. I will come back to kiss & hug my SIMBArellar for sure as far as my primary mobile line is concerned! 😘

I agree. I popped a simba card for my mum and put it as a secondary card. Really helpful for me when she travels with my aunts as I don't need to worry about her roaming.

She is not a heavy user so taught her to use WhatsApp call when she is overseas (mostly Msia or Thailand)
