Pickup up my sim card at 1300hrs.

Exsiting telco lost signal at 2300 hrs.

SIMBA signal popped up at 2340 hrs.

All happened on one single day and less than 12 hours. Super awesome!
This is still valid and accurate as of today :)

Also have to take note its only applicable for weekdays... if I'm not wrong, those ported on weekends / PH will only happen on the following work-day

I Just came back from Europe holiday, using SIMBA for data roaming.

SIMBA voice app is crucial for phone calls. Not all countries support Volte for SIMBA roaming. Even if you can call directly using your native phone app in Singapore, it doesn't mean you can do it overseas.

Based on my experience last week in Belgium, I have to use SIMBA voice app to call back Singapore as their roaming partner still has yet to active volte.

Some countries like Finland supports volte on Elisa network. I've personally see it on my phone.

5G roaming also supported too in many countries.
Which Europeean countries you traveled to? What's yours review about Simba data roaming ? Any issues or observations?

Also, there are some sorts of "feel good" and "feel more authentic" factors that I'm using a direct telco line and service rather than using a subcontractor (MVNO) line and service. :giggle: 🤭

I would be an Aston Martin F1 team using an engine developed by Mercedes than being Mercedes themselves, or Ferrari for that matter.

I shared your experience with a SIMBA subscriber currently somewhere in Europe.
This is his experience...

Yes, we were able to call both SG mobile and land line from Norway. It's free using SIMBA Voice apps.

My friend called me from SG using SIMBA Voice but only I can hear him and he can't hear me.

He later switched to normal VOLTE mobile line (without using the Voice apps) and we heard each other perfectly. But he had to put +65 to my SG phone number.

Such is the tweaking that we have to do to get free calls. Hahaha.

Who is having 5g at the moment?
Simba 5g

My phone is a Samsung A54 5G and I don't get the SIMBA 5G even at PLQ/PLS mall/indoor area as PLS/PLQ is one of the SIMBA 5G spots!

May be SIMBA 5G bands doesn't support A54 5G yet.

IMHO.
My Samsung A14 5G was able to get 5G for a short while when i do network search.
After I upgraded the software, unable to do so. :ROFLMAO:

Anyway, SIMBA 5G speed is not fantastic at my area.

P.S. I recall using S23U, wasn't able to get. Maybe I go verify again.
