In July I've 2 mobiles to port to SIMBA, both under my name in Singtel, & I still want them under my name with SIMBA (Senior Plan).

Initially I wanted to use the website to do, but I worried complications porting 2...as during the process has to input email & password & use SingPass...and I didn't read anywhere where it allows me to input 2 mobile numbers in one application...so it will be one application after another.

So this means I've to do it twice & I worry got complications eg email has been used before (from my 1st port in).

Also I read that although same name/NRIC I'll need to use 2 separate apps to monitor (read somewhere in this Forum).

Better I go to the shop to talk2.

However I would be grateful if anyone can shed some light.
I'll be porting in 2 Singtel's mobiles to SIMBA, using only my name/NRIC as the account holder.

Question:
When performing SIMBA SIM Card activation can I do it with my phone only for both the SIM cards?

Activation is not on your part. Your part is to wait for it to be activated. U can verify whether had it been activated by popping the sim card into the same phone.

Fastest I think is go to the authorised collection store to get the SIM card and wait 1 or to 2 for the porting process.

When u first get the new SIM card. The card is not active.

The porting normally take place at around 11pm and new Simba SIM will be activated around 1am.

Yes. During this porting over period, you are 'offline' haha.

I have port to Simba 3 times before. The porting over timing seems fixed. Probably like a server scheduled job on daily basic.

The last port over that I did even happened on a Saturday.

Are u opting for delivery? If yes, then u need to activate yourself. Else, go down to their authorised collection store.
Thanks.

You can do it on any device. Just take note that if you doing porting, the SIM card will not work after activation. It will only work after porting has been completed (which is usually done overnight; old SIM cut off at ~11pm. New SIM will work at about 1am).

Also, quite a few posts in the past about the activation portal not working. If cannot activate using portal, need to go down to one of their shops for them to activate for you.

If you opt for delivery, you will need to activate the SIM card using that portal. Collect at shop, they will activate for you.

FYI...paid a visit to the SIMBA's shop.

If 2 mobile numbers were to port in, both will appear as separate accounts although both will be under my name/email.

Each will have their own login account/app.

However the one & same app is only needed within my phone, but I need to logout of one & login to the other if I want to view that account.

... to login into my partner's account/app in my phone, a SMS OTP will be sent to her & I need to input into the app in my phone.

And for each mobile I'll need to apply separately for port in - no single entry page for both.

He told me to start process on 11th July since my contract ends on 10th July

How come my app shows that I have sent a few SMS but I did not do that. It happens almost monthly. What's going on? Anyone knows?

Whats tpg lity?
It's a filial forum bro who created this app for his mum to check her usage. It's can save 3 accounts in that app. Previously the tpg app need to authenticate sms each time when trying to login. That's why he created this app.

As far as I know, it's extracted from SIMBA side. I might be wrong. But it's not updated for superroam 50 as it will not show the correct roaming data.
