How's the coverage at jurong area? Any issue?

Not sure about 5G in Jurong area but once you are in the 5G coverage areas. You will get the higher speed of at least 20mbps and above as far as SIMBA network is concerned. No more slow 1-8mbps likes on its 4G.

Places I frequented regularly. I get an average of 60mbps constantly. It can peak up to more than 100mbps on those good 5G coverage spots.

using zym 5g no problem..
will try delete and create apn..

i manual search network can found simba 5g.when select it promted can't register..

If after recreation still cannot meaning that your Redmi doesn't have the 5g bands that SIMBA is using. That will be too bad!

Simba support openly iqoo handsets.
Mean msia set can.
I using China brand umidigo is ok 5g

I though it may help if the phone model supports SIMBA band coz I experienced the same the other night with my Samsung A54 5G. I was scratching my head. Then, I delete the exsiting APN and recreated fresh new APN and then it worked.

May be it was just the "coincidence timing" .

So it will work. Setting yes problem, but if u don't have the band, unlikely u can connect.

Not sure about warmness. My Samsung A54 5G is okay even opted for 5G 24/7.

Of coz, battery drains more of your life but come on. Just use the 5G. No point not to use all those good functions becoz wanna save few % extra of your battery life.

i think if you are in the zone the 5g is not consistent it will keep scanning causing the phone to be "warm"
