I enabled ... no difference... I guessed it good when you happened to roam overseas..
Oversea 5G, for example Celcom Malaysia.

Are they 5G NSA or 5G or both?

Shall we opted for 5G NSA or SA when roaming their 5G there for the best possible connection?

In my previous trip. I did not enable 5G SA. Just use 5G NSA.

Too little too late now for SIMBA. Don't waste time.

May be they are preparing for 5.5G or even 6G SA.
Don't make it sound as though it's enabled by a software upgrade yeah. ;)

It requires physically replacing hardware all over. That's very costly. And if people are paying $5-10/mo, and only a couple of thousand customers, there really isn't much money to make this kind of upgrades.

The fact is for 99% of personal users. The speed of 5G NSA is already overkilled or it is more than enough.

Not going to think so much.. I believed the phone will know what to do... when feature enabled.. phone will use when there's SA. If no SA but detect NSA, will use NSA.

I see. Guess that it is cheaper fee too as far as for our telcos are concerned. Costs less compared to paying for SA to the overseas partners.

So, let's introduce SIMBA to many people as possible!

It's even more so now that SIMBA has rolled out 5G NSA for faster speed not to mention its best and the most reasonable priced Roaming bundle! :)

Yes. The traffic light actually don't earn much from base subscription.

All telcos need to improve their ARPU. If the average ARPU don't increase, its not profitable. Simba now is around $9.37 per customer as compared to last year $9.19.

Telcos increases its ARPU by all its add-ons like VAS all these. That's where singtel dominates. They have the most VAS, the charge customers these add-ons as part of the plan.

One of the most Cash Cow VAS is caller-ID of $5/mth which they (traffic light) WILL not remove. Just do your calculations how much they earn from caller ID. Just go search how many sub they have times* $5/mth.

Simba just announced their financial results for the fiscal year 2023 this morning.

depends on where you go. MY only has NSA now, so no need SA.
But for other places, for example CN 99% only SA. Must enable SA to use. USA also almost all SA.
