a lot of iphone user have this issue. they never set the apn correctly since apple doesn't automatically recognise simba profile. For android it depends on the manufacturer to implement simba profile as well.

Even if you set it correctly, sometimes the phone like to act smart and reset the apn settings to a generic profile. Then its up to the user to know how to fix it back. If they don't, they then blamed it on simba for having poor/no network.
I have checked all setting, it just didn't work. Lucky I have 2 phone, good luck to those who only have 1 phone if such problem happen.

The mere fact that it works fine on your iPhone already rules out a problem with your SIM card roaming profile. Your Poco phone may have done some updating which messed up with the roaming. Android is just the base system software, the hardware manufacturer does a lot of configuration to cater to different component drivers that are used inside the phone. You can write and complain on Simba's FB page, they have more than 800k subscribers which is 10% of the Singapore market, at any point in time, there should be hundreds of users in China roaming, so if this affects Android users, they probably are flooded with similar complaints or you can perhaps trigger similar complaints that will compel them to investigate further.

U write long essay... I summarised for u.

Could I check when data roaming -
Is there a particular telco to connect to when visiting a specific country?
Like for example only Cellcom in Malaysia. And if you connect to other telco in that country, it will not work?

The thing is, Simba as it is, they're not MVNO to start with, they're the 4th licensed mobile operator locally that are just in their very early years where they are just evolving and improving daily.

Those MVNOs that piggy back on already established infrastructure of the traffic light really cannot compare.

Simba's potential is there, but time will be needed.
Even though SIMBA is no longer the best value provider. It is their entrant that makes $10 100GB a reality, bringing mobile data to the golden era again after years of expensive mobile data initiated by ST. That is a big favour by SIMBA.

To me still the best value, you can receive roaming incoming call for free.

Slow speed I am not worried .I am more worried on no signal or coverage . Because android still to not have this feature of auto switching network to the other sim when one has no signal .
Samsung has, that when my green got charge for roaming when purple has no network.

eSIM is $5. Change phone is another $5 for the eSIM. That’s half the monthly costs.
if done online, the esim is free leh.. and its a one time charge.. change phone $5 but do you change phone regularly? if not, that $5 should be fine bah
