I can't get SIMBA roaming to work in China. All settings done as per instructed by SIMBA CS, but still cannot work. Lucky I bought a China data roaming sim card for the trip or else jialat.

What is cannot work? No service? No data ? Or cannot call?

No you cant, i suggest you get a new number to try out, as simba prevent port out in 29/30 days if you port in your existing number. ($30 fee for porting out)

If you order online, use PAYNOW instead of CC/VISA/MASTER. This will prevent auto renew (on day 27) and the card from saving in the system.

If after a month you decide simba is too cui for your use, just wait till the 21 days lapsed for auto termination, or contact simba via email at any time to terminate the new number.

If you do want simba, same thing let the new number expire, and buy a new simba sim card, this time porting in your main number.

This is bad advice, when you signed a legal contract and broke it, you are liable for the penalty. Just because Simba can’t charge you doesn’t mean you’re off the hook for the $30 or the following month’s payment if you crossed 30 days.

any performance or roaming difference with the $8 plan and the senior $5 plan apart from the free local data and talk time?

I know simba is not reliable for overseas roaming but sufficient for whatsapp/map etc so that will meet my traveling requirements.

Also, can simba support tethering ?

I did signed for the business plan. Good for business WhatsApp and free mobile call and incoming call.

Business plan mean need to use your company as the user. They will need your ACRA and director ID.

Cheap and good.

Can those using simba eSim users advise how long it takes to receive the email with QR code after registering online and made payments? been an hour still no emails or payment acknowledgment email from SIMBA

Hi thanks for the post. I just went down collect my business plan SIM card for my daughter. Signed up with acra file and director ID.

$8 for 50gb data is good enough for kid

Wow I am falling in love with simba striaghtaway. Signal is very good in my home. Also the basic app’s information clarity is good. The simba app is more responsive compared to the StarHub app.

1)balance recharge>top up amount> + $5 > plan type post paid> what happens if press confirm ? Does it straightaway charge the credit card on the simba app ?

edit:I can’t see any credit detail on the simba app with dashboard 2.4.16

2)what is the purpose of the simba voice app ? So I enabled volte on ios 17. I call from other iPhone ,able to receive on normal iOS call app. Able to voice call out from the normal iOS call app. So why need to use simba voice app ?

Good to know. Deleted simba voice app.since iOS has volte enable function nd volte works by default

so I m going to give the phone to a child. How to child lock the recharge function? or is it safer to not put credit card on the account ?

if your phone doesnt support volte, then you need the voice app.

if you are overseas and not able to get volte to work, use the voice app.
