I finally see the 5G symbol on my phone. But that is the only difference as I cannot feel any speed boost in data transmission :D

i faced the issues previously and consulted simba support. Many previously has encountered this issue. Please delete your APN and re-set up your APN : TPG. It will work.
Thanks for this solution. I was having this problems too for the past few weeks and i thought it was my phone problem. I also need to restart my phone in order for the solution to work.

is it possible to sign-up with Simba and just pay for a month? This for
1. Travel purposes
or
2. Sign up for visiting relatives/friends from overseas

after the 30 days is due, i just do not continue? Which plan that is on renewal basis instead of deducting from credit card?

I have a line with TPG which I signed up when they offered it for free, but every month is deductible from credit card.

TIA.

Try this?
I want to use this prepaid SIM Plan from SIMBA. If I go to the shop, purchase this plan & get the SIM, will I get connected immediately or wait till after midnight?

SIMBA $10 for 30 days

And I presume the plan will get terminated if I don't renew?

Thanks

+1 its down whole singapore i guess
I dunno but for me, SIMBA was down totally (Woodlands) at 0700. Totally no reception until I reached Amk when it was full bar.

I connect my phone to CarPlay so it will show the signal strength. Was zero from Woodlands to Mandai to Yishun (SLE) then suddenly near Amk ave 1 went to full strength

Yes, can buy SIMBA prepaid 30day plan at $10.

You can get a new SIMBA prepaid SIM at any of these locations that has tick under the 'Prepaid' column:
https://simba.sg/walk-in

SIMBA provides PDF files giving details of all their mobile plans at this link:
https://www.simba.sg/cis

The PDF file for SIMBA prepaid is this link.

The SIMBA prepaid plan will expire after 30days.
(You're allowed / able to renew the SIMBA prepaid plan if you have exhausted any of the allocated quota -- data, calls, SMS etc -- without waiting till the end of the 30days validity period. This is an advantage/difference when compared to SIMBA postpaid plans.)

(After the SIMBA prepaid plan has expired) From 31st to 60th day is grace period. Grace period gives user a 30day window to renew the $10 SIMBA prepaid plan -- without the SIMBA prepaid SIM being terminated.
(Incoming calls + incoming SMS can still be received during grace period.)

If you don't wish to use the SIMBA prepaid SIM anymore -- just ignore & no need to do anything.

After the 60th day, the SIMBA prepaid SIM will be terminated.

Two phones with simba, one vivo basic cheap phone which only has 4g function, and my current S24 ultra, set on 4g only.

At basement carpark, vivo has full bar and full network. Both on simba. Just different phone.

S24 ultra shows emergency calls only and no network at all....... Restart both phones to test, reset both apn for comparison sake..

Somehow wondering is it phone issue or network issue lol. Anybody else encountered?

Oh wow... Amazing! It worked and is finally back to normal.
I was suffering for a few weeks and kept thinking it was just bad signal.
Really appreciate your help, and hope it can help others who see your message too

You're most welcome. Many pages back, a few users also had this issue, resolved after reseting APN.

So if anyone here facing slow loading in certain apps, please just delete the old tpg apn and set it up again.

Anyone know:
Those especially seniors who don’t have credit card and who only visit the retail shop to top-up their wallet.

1. If his postpaid plan expired, does SIMBA send SMS reminder everyday.

2. if his postpaid plan expired, does the service get renewed immediately after he top-up his wallet? Or need to wait till next morning?

TIA
