True ....... IDD only in the case of:
- backup emergency, can still contact if got internet outage, or if hiking in ulu place where internet connectivity not that great.
- going overseas and then calling the overseas number for things like reservation etc.
Ya! It's useful and comes in handy in these cases.

However, most of the people who travel overseas as tourists have had everything reserved and in place in most cases.

In JB, Simba can call Malaysia Mobile number directly. So how will the calls be charged?

Anyone had experience in Germany? It work?
I think it should work fine. I roamed in neighbouring country, Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg before.

I think all of the 3 countries use the same apn and telco orange. Data worked well. But there are few mini spots in Brussells where I got only H+ or E. Doesn't affect me as when I moved away from that blind spot, it went back to 4G. There were 5G in Luxembourg and Finland.

hi all, anyone using iPhone and using Apple Music?
I cannot download music to phone using Apple Music. Streaming is all okay.
Is this a SIMBA issue? Thanks
for this I believe it's a SIMBA issue.
I put my SIMBA sim card into another iPhone, also cannot download Music.
Not sure why

Yes, the phone is in the support list.

The latest list Nov-23 can be found here
https://support.simba.sg/hc/en-us/articles/4486876235801-What-are-the-supported-devices
Which Oppo phone version? Double check the SIMBA Volte supported Phone list here (only can find early April 2023 version).

https://en.ocworkbench.com/simba-updates-volte-supported-phone-list/

If Its not a phone from the dark ages, should be fine de both hardware and software wise. I think when its carrier supported phones, just means the settings are automatically set when the phone detects the SIM card and there is no need to manually configure the APN settings.

Was it working reliably and smooth in Belgium?

Simba roaming reliability is questionable. Last year was seamless with KDDI.
This time KDDI got issue. VoLTE and SMS not working. Luckily got Rakuten as additional partner.

Simba seems to be getting from bad to worse. I was at the KFC at Boon Keng (Towner Road) just now and totally no signal inside. and it is just one of the example that Simba got issues in urbanised part of sg.

when i used singtel 4G last time totally not such issues. think i might consider switching to Heya...

Is it just one location or many locations? Not happy can always switch. Nowadays so easy to switch telco.

many locations. some other locations with either no signal or signal too weak included Don Don Donki JEM and MRT between Clementi and Chinese Garden.

Surprisingly it works well at Sungei Gedong Camp (not the outfield training area though) when I went reservist despite that location being ulu but it seems to have issues in the more urbanised part of sg
