Anyone facing slow mailing of sim card from SIMBA? 5 working days have past but SIM card has not appeared in my mail.
I ordered on 7th Mar but never received it. Emailed simba multiple times regarding the matter. They resent on the past Monday but no difference as of today.

I wanted to share my experience here after staying with M1 for the last 18 years. M1 is terrible at retaining old customers, and fooling us for the poor internet access. Things have taken a 180 change in the last 4 years when I kept facing poor connectivity even when my signal strength is full. This is also correlated to the same timeline as when they hired a ahneh CEO. I won’t elaborate how much I’ve done on my own expense (changing 3 phones a year). This switch to SIMBA has opened my world to how fast and stable mobile connectivity in Singapore is (excluding M1).

My plan was expired for 2nd day, and I switched to SIMBA at 7:30pm in the evening at their retailer in the West. Sign up was a breeze (3-mins), paid $12 and went for my dinner. Couple of hours later my M1 line got deactivated and SIMBA came on. I went to work in the day and had full LTE connectivity and instantaneous whatsapp message sent when I type a response. Surfing websites is also much faster and I don’t need to look at my signal strength anymore, neither do I need to switch airplane mode. There was once in the day where my connectivity disappeared for 1min, this happened while I was in a meeting.

Amazing experience so far, am going to switch more phones to SIMBA! Internet is going to SIMBA 2.5Gbps at $20! 😙 CGNAT isn’t an issue for me.
good to hear. I also jumped ship from SGP-M1 to Simba after being loyal to M1 for 18 years. I tried M1 5G SA when it launched, wasn't impressed by it when they implement 5G SA only without NSA. So whenever you are in a 5G SA area and move to an area with no 5G, your network gets cut-off, when you are in a call, you call gets cuts off. Then you have to wait awhile for it to connect to 4G network. Not as seamless.

How's your Simba fibre? international routing all okay ? I'm considering to move to simba fibre end of the year once my contract ends

That is correct. Your current billing cycle (21/3 to 20/4) has been renewed. Your next renewal date is 20/4.

If you however, did not renew current cycle, your plan will be terminated 21 days after expire date, i.e. will be terminate on 11/4.

———————

Send SMS <SIMBA> to 1218

Then,

1. To list SIMBA shops near you, please reply with 1

2. To view your account balance, please reply with 2

3. To check your SIM is roam ready, please reply with 3

4. To block/unblock International Incoming Calls, please reply with 4

SMS to 1218 is free.

For those who had signed up with Simba Senior plan (perhaps other plans as well?), do they require you to give them the ICCID from your current service provider?

Good for u. I’m having both SingTel and simba. For SingTel, even thought speed test win simba all the time, the reliability really lacked. For example, I required to view CCTV for my work sites, on SingTel data, very often the video is jerky. When I switch over to my simba network, the video is stable and can view long period of time without issue. Not the first time experienced simba data connection is much stable than our top rated red umbrella. To me, I learnt that speed test is not everything, real world use is the truth.

Ahh, finally found someone that faces issues viewing CCTV too using ST.
Seems like its not only me facing issues only on ST, and working for the rest.

Good to see positive reviews coming in. Too many bad ones lately.
remember the silent majority. Those who are happy with it, are lurking all around and don't even bother to report their reviews.

Do you know any of your friends / colleagues / relatives that are using simba? I think they will give you a better picture of how simba performed. Sometimes i don't even believe the online reviews

Agree.. only those unhappy with vent their angers online. That's why online reviews are toxic, and the good reviews are usually paid. Haha.

I think their Facebook site Simba Telecom tells it all. Likely more subscribers will go Facebook post than coming HWZ..
