not only that, those who complain, expects pays budget plan, but expect Singtel 5G express pass level. Imagine paying $10 for a meal, but expect Ritz Carlton Hotel style fine dining.

Wait till they travel overseas, many metro in Europe or USA don't even have cell network underground. Rural areas, weak or no network. Well, we live in a first world society, expect first world, but ...
Their $10 is in the 60s, very big in value.. Dun play play..

In my home study room,
this morning at 4 am, (while watching brentford vs man utd ) , speed test can get 15 mbps
now 3 pm same location getting 0.7-1.2 mbps

issit due to Simba network congestion, too many users?
Which area and your phone model?
You can feedback to SIMBA and they will improve that area. I remembered someone did that before.

obviously, you didn't read the thread and barking up the wrong tree

in my home, I get 5G 2 bars but no data
simba only works with older 4G phones for my location

and I got totally no connection at mid floor MBFC and AMK bus interchange transit link counter

I had the line for 1 month+ and find it barely usable
now deciding where to port out to .....

do you work for simba? :s11:

You can go feed back to IMDA and maybe they will pick your office building for audit next time. Their last audit gave Simba a perfect 60/60 score for in-building coverage which ranked them ahead of M1 and Starhub and put them on par with Singtel. Though the standard is a bit low, at 85% in-building vs 99% outdoor.

IMHO.
IMDA already state clearly. Below in bold, will it help to feedback to IMDA ?

E.g.
Note: The same sixty buildings were tested across the four mobile operators. The performance of each of the mobile operator varies for each of the building tested. End users' individual experience may differ due to different models of handset used, handset settings, number of users in the vicinity, etc.

Different models of handsets and settings are users' problems, I am assuming it is a coverage rather than users' problems, and if it is indeed an issue of no connection in the same place for a month, then it is unlikely related to the number of users in the vicinity etc......

Not the first time hearing this and that Telco got no signals in so and so buildings, all Telcos have their own blindspot somewhere, where there is no coverage. If don't feedback to the Telco and/or IMDA, no one will know which floor and in which location have no signals. Unless Simba/IMDA read HWZ, else feedback on HWZ has zero chance of changing anything, whereas writing to them directly stands a higher than zero-percent chance of getting something done. Even if the intent is to switch Telco, giving such feedback in a way is also doing good deeds, the problem might get rectified in a few months time and future users will not have such coverage issues.

Not as if telco don't know why areas are congested. :ROFLMAO:

You read the problem again, it is totally no connection, not about congestion. Congestion is the earlier post when comparing early morning 4am speed and daytime speed.
IMHO.
You must be not have experienced got connection but disconnected.
Connected to 5G yes. Disconnected from data.
The word connection can be used loosely.

IMHO.
I just start the speedtest app on my hotspot mobile phone and leave it there. If it can connect to a server, it will be green, if not, will be red.
it will reconcile with web browsing of HWZ :ROFLMAO: on my notebook.
I don't record the disconnect/connect data everyday but I would say quite consistent.
So everyday I try and hope for the best. Usually is cannot, so I switch to Zym.

I recently sign up for senior plan - what is this account top up for? I thought it is a postpaid plan? Very confusing.

Top-up so you can continue to use Data Roaming if you exceeded the allocated 1GB, + other stuffs eg using IDD to other countries.
Top-up eWallet.
In your case you will be using for Roaming, but applies to others too eg IDD calls

For the record, 7 days after I applied and paid for the sim card, I still waiting for it. The customer service is hopeless, they claim I have the wait 5 to 7 business day for a piece of plastic that weigh a few grams. Speachless, before I even use their service, I already knew this company is lousy.

I'm going to just take it as I throw $20 to the drain and never ever bother with them. (n)
After 23 days, the sim card finally arrived, did Simba sent a turtle to transport the card ot it went around the globe?

Straight to the rubbish bin. :poop:

the top up balance has payment priority over cc/giro. i combine national day promo + shopee coins to pay only $2.80 per 30 days.
