For those on iPhone, do you put TPG under “LTE setup (optional” and “MMS”? In SIMBA’s screenshot of their APN those two are blurred out but you can clearly see something under the APN of those 2 sections. Not sure if it makes a difference…

I think it generally works, but data speed will be slower than major telcos. It really depends on why you want to switch telcos.

Most likely to stay as there's roaming and higher data quota, compared to others. lol

I have a secondary (old previous main) phone with all critical apps installed
get a new sim card and will be good to go

That's your excuse to get a backup phone.

hows simba coverage nowadays?? currently on singtel and want to port out to simba. It seems the connection was very bad few months ago (1mbps down).

If it is unacceptable, it's user base will be stuck, no? If they want to grow then they need to improve.

Simba can be quite unreliable as main line but for me, it is fabulous as a secondary line.

I used gomo then giga as main line and there are times when I get zero bar in certain places (underground), I would unexpectedly get 3-4 bar (max 5) on simba. i dont know how it all works though.

For the past few years, I have been using 2 phones, main on singtel/starhub and sub on simba
I always had some sort of connection no matter where I am because when my main line is down (no connection), my sub can tether to my main and vice versa. But then again, it works well because I use 2 phones. Using 2 sim card on one phone is possible but not really cost efficient, I supposed.
