Talked about Simba 5G vs M1... just did a 5G test. Anyway, both watching youtube, etc with no issue.

are you joking ?

youtube on handphone needs only 10 Mbps for full hd youtube.

even if you can force it to play 4k, it is only 20-30 Mbps

I just topped up via shopee. I thought I could use maribank voucher, such a cheapo bank, made me apply for their savings account but don't allow me to use the $6 voucher to buy buy the Simba $10 top up. Anyways I have topped up now.

I have a question, if I don't have anything in the Simba wallet and don't have any payment method linked, if I exceed the 1gb roaming allowance, will roaming just stop working or will it deduct anyway and cause some -ve balance in the wallet? Mine is postpaid 100gb simonly.

stop.

to play safe, top up a bit if the remaining roaming data is low.

Thanks, I think I will just buy a local Malaysia SIM, I think it would be way cheaper, since my wife and daughter may just play a lot of videos and finish a few GBs a day, lol.

I just need the 1Gb to use during our journey to KL. Once we reach KL, we will probably get a local SIM.

For the SuperRoam 50GB plan, there is 10GB for roaming and extra 40GB for Malaysia.

When I'm in Malaysia, will the data be taken from the 40GB Malaysia first then 10GB for international roaming?

Or will they deduct from the 10GB international roaming, then deduct from the 'extra' 40GB for Malaysia?

Cos I'll be in Malaysia for 2 weeks first then 2 weeks in Australia. Would like to keep the 10GB solely for Australia.

I have a Malaysia Maxis sim for my work phone. Need the Simba for my personal phone instead of tethering. Apartment no wifi :(

Too lazy to switch the sim cards around on a daily basis too.

When you at msia, it will deduct from the msia 40Gb balance first.

You can consider getting roaming plan of Maxis. 60RM for 70Gb that can be used in Malaysia and Singapore. In Singapore can use Singtel Network. I feel quite worth it for myself.

Hi there, my mom has gave $5 to the shop who help her get the simba senior citizen plan. Apparently i have alot of data with my m1, and i intend to share with her.

as such - decided to end the simba plan once 1 month is up. How do i help her terminate it, so that her name is still eligible for future 3 prepaid card limits? dont want later endup didnt terminate and let it lapse, and it's counted as 1

Senior plan is postpaid, have to stay 2 months or pay fee of $30 for early termination.

Careful guys, i think i just get scam by Simba. Sign up SuperRoam MY and less than 1 month, i decided not to continue after the 90 days (network too patchy, and i have better coverage/connection with RedOne) and send the form for termination. Next they told me the number that i choose was golden number and it is tied with 24 months WITHOUT STATING IT ANYWHERE.

I'll log a case to CASE and IDA. This is clearly mislead customer if not scam

I'm in the 3rd week into using Simba for my second line. Sporadically, there will be occasions when I could not call out; the call will be auto-terminated without getting the other side to ring. Toggling airplane mode off and on again make it work, most of the time. I read similar accounts in this thread. :(

Scammed? It's clearly stated in the Terms and Conditions lol.

Don't just click "I acknowledge", "I acknowledge", "I have read the Terms and Conditions" blindly, lol.:LOL:

Unfortunately, they did and it does mention 24 Months

I guess at this point is, did you know about this golden number thing and chose it? If so, then i think it's on you already.

Unless on the off chance, you took screenshots of your sign up / porting process and there are information that are missing in the TnC that you have agreed on
