Im having problems with Simba data roaming again. In China. Previous few trips all working OK. Did have some issues every now and then.

Very spotty and limited network now hotspotting from another network. Totally cannot connect on Simba.

Anyone with the APN settings? I can't scroll back to check cos I keep getting 'no Internet' message.

I set to TPG for name and APN. Doesn't work.

Which country are you in, and which part. You know that anything overseas is based on the roaming partner, the local telco connection. If theirs is bad, then it's bad, you can't really say simba is bad.

Even if you use singtel or m1 roaming, you go that country, and at that area, you still going to face issues.

Can you receive otp or make a phone call other than data? If there is no Internet, check if you have data roaming turned on and also remove your mobile data limit.

Another reason could be, you have exceed your free roaming data. You have to top up wallet to continue!

Sigh. I'm travelling every month and I've been using Simba. I know what's bad and what's not.

And I do know how to use data roaming on Simba.

I'm only in Singapore for a few days every month.

Do also check your account if you have funds inside account. Because I have a friend who did not top up, cannot use Internet. Then after top up , can liao

Sigh. I've prepaid my plan for 3 months. Still in the 1st month.

And my plan includes 5gb of data roaming. Have not even used 1gb.

All I'm asking is for someone kind enough to share the APN settings.

There's only 1 APN.

Try delete your APN and re-set up your APN : TPG.

Information all there, since so kieng do a quick search can find the APN liao.
Talk until got dragon got tiger but cannot do a simple search. 🤡

I was having really bad spotty internet connection, tethering off someone's. That's why I need something quick.

What made you think I didn't do a search huh?

'Information all there' and you can't point it to me?

I've input a few and all doesn't work.

Just came back from JB yesterday and my data was working fine.
If you are using iOS, you may follow my setting. I remember well must disable Use Network Provider Settings.

My default setting for MCC is 208 and MNC is 01.

Settings on the www is MCC 528 and MNC 10. When I set to these values, the entire APN vanishes and can't be saved.

Name and APN both set to TPG.

Not sure if this would help, perhaps you may want to reset network settings and see how it goes?

is it intermittent or totally unusable?

If intermittent, it’s network issue. Try reset network setting, APN, manual connect, auto connect etc and it might resolve your issue somehow.

If totally cannot use, it could be becos you did not turn on long enough in sg and they didn’t register your number for roaming. (Advise to turn on 72hrs before you go overseas)

If u are those that travel many countries in a week, too bad, Simba will tell you their plan is not meant for your Usage
