Yes, agreed.

But how does terminating one's own line after paying $10x Y number of times and gotten nothing out of it help the speed of response?? :o

IMHO.
If everyone does that, the provider will just continue to provide the same level of service. I would say, we are what we make ourselves out to be.

As it is , my "unhappiness" with TPG is that, if i understand correctly, it uses the 4G spectrum but provide similar to my 3G last time. :s13:

Credit card payment is instant. If they cannot receive it instantly, meaning they live in the 1990s.

Screen shot the details of card payment date, TPG system yet to update the $$$ after 10 days, make police report on fraud, call bank card to initial charge back for fraud, call IMDA for fraud.

Already 3 weeks, just give me a case file saying will look into it. Keep spam my phone by sending sms inform termination after certain date if payment not made. Oh my god!

Is not so simple. Some of them have been charged a couple of times; i.e., $10 X 2-3-4 times and gotten NOTHING from the telco.

If dont quit means they can continue to charge you right or wrong.
Because you still their subscribers.
This is the game they playing now

Why do you think they dont reply for customers request termination ?
Everything is computerized and how difficult can it be?
It is not like old days everything done by using pen to write paper and match with customers on the face to face counter etc

Credit card payment is never instant (same as nets). Your account may be deducted instantly, but seller get the money 3 or 4 days after, minus the necessary service chargers.

The worse case is human get mislead by computer. Computerized does not means zero human intervention.

Our society is now into situation like "sorry, computer is down, please come back another day!"

I'm considering signing up for the $10/50GB plan and let my kids share the 50GB when we're out on weekends. Any idea what happens after i hit 50GB on the card before 30 days and i do not purchase any top up - Will it cut the data or I need to have some credit in the TPG account at all times?

I have a $0 circles plan with 1GB, 30mins air time, 10 sms. When the 1GB is used up, the data is totally cut leaving only airtime and SMS which is what I assume TPG will be like.

Appreciate if anyone can share how TPG works. Thank you.

Do you mean after payment using credit card at a restaurant, diner is not allowed to leave until restaurant receive the payment in their bank account?

Whether TPG gets their payment into their bank is not my issue.

As long as I make my payment, as long as TPG's merchant bank is having a hold of that $10, when they want it posted and gets paid into TPG bank account is not my issue.

Like I said, do we stay at the restaurant after making payment using credit card until restaurant gets their payment into the bank?

Hi all, I am looking to change my mom's SingTel prepaid to TPG 50GB SIM Only plan, what is a good way to convert to a postpaid plan in minimal time period and no SIM card registration fee required? Hope to retain the prepaid number. TIA!

Just switch to TPG Prepaid. Also 50GB plan.
Do note that there's limited underground coverage. They're still building out the network and it'll take a while more.

Agree, no need to convert to postpaid as it is a one way change.

Read again. This is between credit card company and restaurant. To you, you have paid!
Same applies, buy the time you receive credit statement, whether you pay or not is between you are credit card company. Nothing to do with restaurant.
With one exception, if you dispute the item. Then further investigation will be done by credit card company.
