How's the $5 Senior Plan? Receive SingPass SMS OTP, OK or not? They have a port-in promo with free $12 credit. (Today, on their FB page).

SMS OTP receiving fine, call and roaming works.
Basically just like their normal plan but for seniors.

Greetings,

can some experts advise if I need to do any special setting on the SIMBA when I roaming it in Malaysia, please?

For my past 2 weeks in Malaysia, I encountered weak or lost signal intermittently.

My default Mobile Data Network setting was :

APN : TPG
Personal Hotspot : APN : TPG
the rest setting is blank

Your settings look ok, except I don't have Personal Hotspot that's set to TPG... there's no such setting for me.

Sometimes when signals go weak I'll toggle Airplane Mode (wait a 1 min after enabling) & I'll get back the signal - never fails me.

Once I get a new SIM card I just put TPG on 1st 2 entries of every feature there, including Hotspot. Then restart phone. So far been roaming without problem.

Anyone just sign up the data only esim for roaming use ? I find the $5 is reasonable. Just use it for over 1-2 week Malaysia/ Thailand roaming usage.
