Arigato ! Likely to move prepaid plan from Singtel and M1. The validity extension has increase price and getting inconvenient.

like caterham7 posted. i also did for my mum awhile back from pre paid starhub to postpaid to simba at their canberra store. the porting took like less then 24hrs

At Woodlands now outdoor driving, my Simba 5G 14mbps eight 4G 90mbps. Is this normal? Lol. Gonna test JB roaming see which one more reliable.

i have observed similar speed ranges when in town, sometimes with wider differential (eight higher)
so long as dun drop, dun lag, i can tolerate it.

just to clarify, prepaid starhub to postpaid simba at their store? This will cutback 1 step for me.

Can I port in my existing Prepaid Plan to SIMBA?​

Yes. If your current service is a prepaid mobile, you have 2 options when porting in to SIMBA Mobile.

• Option 1: Port in to SIMBA Prepaid 100GB at SIMBA Service Centres or Dealers only.
• Option 2: Port in to SIMBA SIM-Only 100GB (postpaid plan) at SIMBA Service Centres or Dealers only.

The eligibility age requirement for Prepaid is 16 years old and above. Each ID document is only allowed to sign up for 3 prepaid SIM cards across all service providers as mandated by the authorities.

Please ensure that the personal details which you register with SIMBA match those of your current service provider to port in successfully.

correct me if im wrong but i rem the simba store at canberra was their service center and i also read online you cant port pre paid to post paid unless its was done over there, which was something my mum found that pre paid can be ported over if done from the canberra store. that why i went with my mum from the west to there to check it out and they did.

Can confirmed that it cannot be done online and they only allow port to a 100GB postpaid plan, you can't choose any other plan for the first month.

Currently using ZYM and thinking if should switch to either Eight/ Simba.

On the train, if watching youtube / tiktok, its always lagging/ buffering. Yes, I'm aware that MNVO customer have the least priority. Not asking for the fastest speed but more on reliable and stable connection.

I think all telcom lag on mrt. I am using Heya. a lot people on the train then my phone lagging.

If zym(Singtel) is lagging, Simba will not be better in any way

suggest you get a number and try it out for a month or two. that way you get an accurate assessment for say, 2 months subscription.
edit: no long term contract, so if it does not work out, just cancel the line.

what may work for me, may not work for you unless you have the same travel pattern (places, time etc). As always, YMMV.

Since now there is a data-only plan at only $5. Somemore you need not port in

At my workplace for the longest time, still get disconnection early in the morning as hotspot.

it has improved but not to the same level as Singtel, M1 or starhub. 5G is still lower than those. It is useable though. Dun get ur hope too high.
