SIm card itself cost $8 or the plan cost $8?

Sim card. Coz i asked whether any charges for physical sim card if i m not taking esim. N the shop staff told me its $8.

If need pay $8 for physical sim card at retailers for activation, i might as well do online n opt for sim collection.

There is $8 credit, is it for 1st month or subsequent month?

$8 is for the plan, not SIM. Did they ask you for extra payment?

The SMS reminder sent is a campaign sent to everyone regardless of their Auto-Recharge setting.

You can safely ignore it if you already have Auto-Recharge turned "on" and you either have sufficient credit balance or credit card details saved.

Not heard of any double charge. Just in case, you check the balance again. If wrongly charge, email them at helpme@eight.com.sg

yea i think thats the only way.

I'll just monitor my credit card transactions to see if they deduct twice for this month.

If they really deduct twice, i will just email them if not i'll go to their physical stores and make noise

I, being in and out and in from SIMBA repeatedly for the past 2 years or so.

I can frankly tell you that simba speed and coverage and stability have improved so much especially from the late Q2 of 2024 onwards.

Really can ask many to join SIMBA now.

Another few spots tested. It used to be less than 12mpbs even on 5G but now they are running at 45+mlbs at the least.

Awesome improvement by SIMBA in this Q3 or so.

I will be sticking to SIMBA for a long period of time this time around.

May be Simbarella put kong tao on me. After a while, I would go back to her... Lol..

Now, let's be serious! I really keep trying to give Simba a chance but its speed and coverage are still not quite up to the standard even it's running on its 5G SA.

Many times, I got stuck when trying to pay by apps, and the Upload speed is slow when I'm trying to upload something fast for my work. Quite frustrating indeed.

What are you talking about? It's $8, if retailer charges you more than $8. Please report to eight about the errand retailer. I've reported 2 shops to eight to deal with them.

The $8 is for the first mth plan, not for the SIM card.

I had also encountered beng shop wanna charge me a few dollars helping to activate line after collecting sim card over the counter too. I told the beng off and reported to my MVNOs too.
