Seems like Simba can utilize their partner roaming data without additional cost, sooner or later they will just open up more and all apac/asean countries for roaming without any adjustment in cost. Wish they could just spend a bit more effort in making their SG network better+ proper maintenance, 4G also happy liao don't need 5G.

We keep complaining about inflation on everything, BUT mobile plans keep getting cheaper with more data!!!

they will come after Eight and other mvno react. One step at a time. Who knows Vietnam is next after Thailand.

I'm contented if they provide SIT plans, since these are likely the frequently visited countries.

i think most Singaporean go Bali / Thailand / Batam more hahaha

Yes therefore, SIT plans will be the best for most of the user base.

there have been reports that data roaming is unusable in Vietnam

More of VIetnam's issue, not isolated to SIMBA roaming users only from the sharings.

Simba using celcom in JB is terrible.
KSL mall speed is crawling, rest of jB is barely acceptabel

Replacing eSIM for new or reset device still need to go down to Orchard Central or Kaki Bukit, right? Maybe I'll make my maiden trip to the latter if have to...

Yes, now SIMBA is strict, only account holder can process such request.
Even with OG IC & LOA for proxy also unable to proceed.

Good for security especially elderlies but bad cause inconvenient. Defeats the purpose of eSIM.
No idea why cannot utilise SingPass to verify with additional layers like OTP from email etc. essentially having MFA before being able to proceed. As long no need go down.

Still waiting for unlimited roaming package. (Use all sg data anywhere overseas)

M1 used to have their data passport(which was essentially what I am referring to here lol). But was removed to a capped amount..

Simba can bring back sth similar if they want

so does the 7gb roaming applies for this or its tagging to the 300GB local (SG data) if we go the 3 mentioned countries?
