So if thailand under apac roam 12gb? Also under group a?
So 12gb use finished (apac) then use 3gb (group a)? Then after that is sgd4/gb? Let's say for thailand/taiwan...???
Not sure... very weird way of advertising...
Malaysia & Hong Kong are part of the 300 GB main data allowance... but also part of the 12 GB APAC group and also part of the Group A listing...
There are 2 ways to interpret this:
1. Since Hong Kong & Malaysia are part of the main data list, they don't qualify for APAC & Group A data allowances anymore...
2. Since Malaysia & Hong Kong are part of these 3 different data allowance listings, then they qualify for all 3 data allowances...
This coverage redundancy was already there from the day they covered Malaysia in the main data allowance... but since you'll never finish using the 200 then 280 GB, then 300 GB, in Malaysia or Hong Kong, we'll never find out which option is correct short of SIMBA answering the question...
It seems like the APAC listing targets Bangladeshi foreign workers who return home and so need roaming data... having free data may entice them to sign up... I see many of them video calling their families, and the 300 GB is very attractive if they video call every day for a few hours... video calls really consume a lot of data... plus streaming videos...
For the rest of the countries in APAC, I can't imagine what the target audience is... even though many Singaporeans visit Taiwan & Thailand for holidays but I would hardly think the addition will attract more subscribers given that there's already 3 GB roaming for these countries and holidays to these countries tend to be short and 3 GB would be sufficient...
