It is better to just approach the Somerset outlet staff for assistance. You might also want to switch your SIM card to another handphone to see if it is handphone compatibility issue. Generally, I was told by the staff that newer phones (launched from 2 years+ ago) work better with their SIM card.
Thanks for the reply! I decided to jump to another telco cos $5/month til july is not worth headache of fussing with slow customer service and poor handphone compatibility. Jumped to giga's $10/mth plan and ported over fuss-free and I get to use back the same handphone.

I am using an old Samsung A3 (2016). I think it only supports 4G/LTE Band 8 (not sure 40, I think not). Will it work under TPG? Thanks.

I went Lim Chu Kang Lane 6 locality a few days back. Surprisingly, TPG had no signal. The signal only returned from Lane 4 and below towards Neo Tiew Estate. So those who are getting TPG need to take note that the NW edge of Singapore has no TPG signal.

anyone experience slow network at times?

These 3 mths (May - Jul), TPG gives extra 50GB:
https://www.tpgmobile.sg/
That means:
* $10 50GB plan becomes $10 100GB plan (until Jul)
* $18 80GB plan becomes $18 130GB plan (until Jul)

So more mobile data usage on TPG is to be expected -- which may cause more load on the network at times.

When was the last time you get 100GB/30days -- for $10 ?? Haha..

People are going to use / abuse TPG mobile data -- even when not necessary -- like switch off WiFi & use mobile data even when at home etc. :)

Of course (sometimes) it could be your phone or the app / Web site that you're accessing has problems -- instead of TPG network slow.

Re-boot your phone, test different apps / access different Web sites (or switch to WiFi) -- to better determine if TPG network is experiencing temporary congestion.

I don't have issues at home with my wifi off but at work, bare min speed like 1-2mbps only...
