Any trial users from start of 2019 still have not receive any status of their existing trial plans?

It looks like the earliest batch to be terminated is May 2020. This should cover the current WFH period when there is a high data demand for many TPG subscribers.

Since I signed up in Jun 2019, I expect mine to be terminated from Jun 2020 onwards, assuming that the free trial is valid for 12 months.

TPG only runs only on 4G network and not 3G right? Till now still no news if they provide pay as you roam services? Otherwise bring phone overseas can't receive calls.

Yup, TPG only runs on 4G, no fallback to 3G. They are also building up 5G network.

You can login the TPG portal (website) to check your usage. But is currently only show u the current month. Not sure trial customer usage will appear.

Have. The data usage is reset daily for trial users. Voice (landline) and SMS usage is reset monthly, but they never say what date.

Any news of TPG cutting off the existing free trial users?

For users that collected the SIM card before 31 May 2019, and 21 Oct 2019 to 30 Nov 2019: Trial will end on 31 May 2020. Existing customers will receive an email on 1 May 2020 onwards regarding the conversion to 50GB $10 plan if you want. If no action is done, they will probably cancel the line.

For other customers, your trial should continue to run till the 6 months (30 Nov 2019 onwards signups) / 12 months (between 1 June and 20 October 2019) is over.

Of course, it depends on TPG Telecom. They may change anytime. For now this seems to be the case.

Currently to sign up for TPG need to go collect the SIM card? They don’t have delivery?

Thank you for your explanation. It helps a lot.

$10 for 50 GB is already a very good deal. If I have not signed up for Grid Mobile $24.90 for 40 GB I would sign up for this immediately.

My guess is next year when TPG's network is more robust and widely implemented, it will raise to $20 at least.

SingTel, Starhub and M1 should have recouped most of their 4G infrastructure cost by now and that's why we are having very good deals.

Tracking my historical subscription plan:

Up to 2013, SingTel for about $40/2 GB (usually exceeded and pay about $50)
2015, Circle.Life for about $30/5 GB
2017, Starhub for about $25/6 GB and unlimited weekend (dropped to $20 for 1 year around 2019)
2019, add on TPG free 2 GB per day unlimited throttle thereafter
2020, Grid Mobile $25 for 40 GB, continue with TPG for $10/50GB (necessitate by Covid?)

This is the problem. In lion city there is true no unlimited data plan for mobile plan yet. Missed those pure data plan with unlimited data but fixed speed last time for mobile broadband.

I dun mind to have even 1Mbps of speed but unlimited.

Of course a unlimited data plan with 4 to 5Mbps will be even better.

StarHub have the $20 50GB+worry free add-on, Circles also have their $20 100GB+unlimited throttled add-on. SingTel Combo plans with dataX $39.90 add-on (50GB+Unlimited throttled), M1 have mySIM e 118 and EMX+ (both 150GB + Unlimited throttled).
Cheapest of them all, Zero1 and MyRepublic plans all comes with unlimited throttled beyond their few GB (some even per day limit).

The claim of no unlimited data plans is flawed. It's just not unthrottled beyond a certain limit of data usage.

I could use 200GB at the minimum per day if truly unlimited and not throttled. Still back to square one.

Typo or really 200 GB at a minimum per day?

Just curious how you are using the data :o
