TPG paid plan will only include Roaming access wef 1 June 2020 (supposedly). Destinations unknown, but hopefully more countries.
Trial customers currently have Roaming support in Indonesia, India and Philippines.

No service at all for non-supported destinations.

Roaming in Malaysia, Indonesia more essential imo

Can someone actually do a speedtest of TPG and post it here? Speedtest location to be within Bishan area thanks!

Didn't you switch from M1 to SingTel + GRID because of the faster speed? And also keep saying TPG is far slower? Haha why suddenly ask this sia :s13:

June 1st is another 2 weeks and status can be unknown. Can we still trust TPG?

Idk man, the whole migration to full plan itself is already a big question mark. If really scared then don't use first ba, maybe July or August when things seems fine then resubscribe.

Malaysian roaming was revoked because of the complains about coverage using Yes 4G. Not sure if they will reinstate with another operator coming June or not, and if yes, which operator. :s22:

Didn't know about that. Last December I traveled to Perak, Kedah and I had no issues with the coverage.

Some people want both free and good. Then kpkb nonstop when it is revoked because their complaints about it not being good. When they're trying to renegotiate for better service for customers at the expense of data bundle, they also kpkb ask where's the "unlimited everything" that they expect. :s11:

Ya the inbuilding coverage like doesn't exist. I mean... If I am paying for it standalone it won't be my choice, but if it is included in the bundle for free, I don't see a point complaining.

If you really want good service, pay for the prepaid sims or roaming from big three la.

Whatever it is, will still be unable to satisfy everyone :s13:

:s22: I really hope TPG can get to know our local needs and to target effectively. Honestly seeing how things are going, it is clear that they ain't doing so.

Sometimes you really wonder if they are here to test the market only or what...

actually the yes4G speed and coverage seriously to me are not too bad. it only cost rm30 for 3Mbps unlimited data and rm40 for 4Mbps unlimited data. Good enough for video streaming even at 1080p which is a kind of plan i hope to see in lion city. :D

Give above 1Mbps of speed such as 3 to 4Mbps but unlimited data at fixed price monthly.

should be end May

That only if your trial started before June 2019 and also between mid-October and end-Nov 2019 (when they changed to 6 months trial).

Other than the dates listed above, it’ll follow your trial period.

TPG splits in two, sets Vodafone merger date
https://www.afr.com/companies/telec...t-in-two-pay-special-dividend-20200520-p54um5
TPG Telecom and Vodafone Hutchison Australia have finally announced a date for the long-delayed $15 billion merger, revealing the two companies will start trading as one on June 29.

In its scheme booklet, TPG also revealed plans to split the company in two, hiving off the smaller Singaporean business and listing it as a separate entity on the Australian Securities Exchange. The much larger Australian business will then merge with Vodafone to form Australia's third-biggest telecoms firm.
