i won't be suprised if one can continue to use the TPG sim as trial plan even he did not opt for plan renewal to $10 one or terminate the line after 30 May 2020.

not until they see their bank card deducts $10. :s13: Since, we are to put our CC upon sign up of TPG.

Haha. Possible. Just wait for few more weeks to see if any kena charge.

However, if it is on TPG trial plan still and kena charge $10 should be good le. Technically if one never select the $10 plan renewable option? They cannot just convert it for u without ur consent. More interested to see if this will be happening. If yes, then I will be regretting terminating my TPG like already. Haha.

Technically this can happen, becos the plan we were in is called the XL Unlimited Data Plan. so technically if the line remains active, it can be on this plan forever?

Wait long long.

They are coming out with a new XL plan in the future. It will cost more than $10. :s22:

haha. we may not know until probably one month later from now.

I am certain that there will be people who did not select any of the two options - terminate after 30 May or renew as $10 plan.

From FAQ, there is no clear mention of what will happen if one does not opt for any of these two options after 30 May.
Since there is no clear mentioning of this in black and white, technically they cannot (or should say they will not) just simply perform any of these two options for one as it will ended up in two bad situations: 1) terminate -> one may jump especially if he is really using the number 2) renew -> unwanted charge to one even the amount is not significant.

As a new telco which is trying to establish their branding in lion city, they dun think they will go for either way, so to allow status quo to those who did not opt for any of the two options will be easiest way out to them unless they officially issue a warning beforehand to those who really do not take any action.

This is what I am interested to know. Maybe you can try and let us know. Hahaha. However, if there is any charge, please do not look for me. Hahaha.

Have you recalled your trial plan TNC?

A 4G VoLTE compatible device is required for making and receiving
calls. See ‘Voice and Public Emergency Calling’ section for more details.
Recurring charges will be billed monthly. Invoices will be issued via email.
TPG will notify you of your monthly charge at least 2 months before the
end of your free trial period.
We will not charge you unless we receive
your agreement to continue with the service beyond the free trial period.
Payment options are GIRO (DBS & OCBC banks), Visa or Mastercard only.

Eligibility
This Service Trial is initially available by invitation only to Singapore NRIC
and Permanent Pass holders 18 years old and above. This trial offer may
be withdrawn at any time subject to market conditions

Minimum Term
TPG Mobile Services are supplied on a rolling month to month basis.
Customers are permitted to terminate the acquisition of the Service at any
time, but you will forfeit any payments already made. TPG encourages
the active use of our SIMs. If TPG notices that there is no data usage
for a continuous 60 days period, TPG reserves the right to terminate the contract and recover your allotted number.

4. My free service trial plan will be expiring soon. What do I have to do & will I be charged if I want to terminate the plan?

You may continue to use the service until the end of the trial period, thereafter, your TPG services will be automatically cancelled without any additional charges.

I converted one of the TPG line to 50GB plan on 31/05/2020 ard 1.50am .

The form quite misleading . It give me 2 options
--> Convert to 50GB plan
--> terminate the trial plan

So does it mean that if i didn't do anything to the form , i will remain on trial service ? :D:D

Seems like his line is still active? Today is already 31 May. If it is really still active, then maybe the Trial Plan will just continue as it is?

I think we need to have those who received email on the renewal or termination to confirm the following:

1) whether their SIM card is still active?
2) whether their plan is still remained as XL Unlimited Plan on the tpgmoble website under their account?

If yes, I will regret to terminate my line. Damn.

This is exactly what I think.

Can you confirm the two things on my earlier posts?

I not sure cos i have some friends who didn't use the TPG line for sometimes and they said that the card cannot connect anymore . For my case , both my sim card is still able to use.

As a precaution , i converted 1 TPG line to the 50GB plan. The other line , i will let it remain and see what will happen . :D

TNC is one thing, what exact actions they will take is also another question.
My point is more of the exact actions they are taking now regardless of the TNC.

As my family using TPG too.

Clicked terminate -> Still Active as of now under 2GB plan

Did Not response -> Still Active as of now under 2GB plan

Clicked Renew -> Still Active under 2GB plan

obviously it does not follow the TNC. it does not terminate automatically after the expiry which is 30 May 2020 0:00 (already over).

this is exactly my point.

likely that they are not very sure since it is not their main line?

there are two here whose lines not terminated or renewed or automatically terminated yet. i dun think it will be different across customers.

likely all are not terminated or renewed or automatically terminated as of now.

my question is that you kept on saying you had converted to the 50GB plan. how did you do the conversion? just submit the request on the portal? did you actually check the portal to confirm the plan name has now changed. and the quota is shown as 50GB instead of 2GB? if not, could all this only an assumption?
