2GB of Roam data is not that much actually if you share hotspot and utilize apps / games that require significant amount data connections and if frequently cross the border.

That's why at the end of the day. I opted to pay $7 extra for the Super Roam plan.

$7 extra....Just cut down one McDonald's meal per month....;):p
Umm, isn't it $15 more? The basis of comparison should be the $10 plan, since it also has 100GB local data (unlike the $18 plan which has 130GB local data)?

For me, the 1GB roaming with the $10 plan is enough to get me from the plane to somewhere I can buy a local SIM card. In most cases, a local SIM card will offer better value & almost always less issues with connectivity & also a local number to make local calls, which is sometimes useful.

Oh! I was comparing the $18 (2GB) with $25 (10GB) plan.

Anyway, it depends on individual at the end of the day.

For me, convinience is always my priority over the reasonable extra price in a long run and taking into consideration that SIMBA cannot upgrade plan straight using the exiting number unless you port out and port in back!

Initially, I was thinking of just taking up the $18 plan. But then, that 2GB may not be enough for me. So, opted for the $25.

I am starting to like TPG.

on top of the data roaming in Malaysia, it also allows us to call/receive call to/from Singapore.

but I noticed my roaming data always stays at 1.0 gb. is there any error in the logging?

Currently those existing users have extra 2GB malaysia data roaming. They will deduct from the 2Gb extra free malaysia data first than the 1GB. The promo ends 31 Aug.

The extra 2Gb data cannot be seen on the app. But can be seen when you log into their Web portal.

Cbd leh, mine 鸟不生蛋 location
My house which is right in the middle of the Non-SIMBA zone can clock 50/2.9 only LOL! :ROFLMAO: I don't even see my own Blue鸟 lets alone the 蛋! 🤭

However, since it is at home. My phone is always connected to W-Fi 6. So, the 50/2.9 is not an issue to me! :giggle:

Refer to this SIMBA FAQ page:
https://support.simba.sg/hc/en-us/articles/4645374547097-How-am-I-billed-for-my-mobile-service-

How am I billed for my mobile service?

You can view your invoices via SIMBA My Account or My SIMBA App. Plan renewal will be billed on Day 26 (4 days before the end of the cycle). The deduction will be based on this order (where applicable):

1. Account Balance
2. Credit Card / Debit Card / GIRO

You will only have access to Basic Data Services if plan renewal is unsuccessful.

***
Based on the above...

If you wish to let the system do plan renewal by deducting money from the SIMBA account balance, and your current (30day) plan cycle ends on 29-Sep-22...

For the next (30day) cycle starting 30-Sep-22 -- deduction from your SIMBA account balance will be done on 26-Sep-22 (4 days before next cycle).

For the above plan renewal deduction on 26-Sep-22 -- (to avoid problems) you should ensure that you top up sufficient funds to your SIMBA account -- latest by 25-Sep-22.

***
If you forget (or wish to confirm) the expiry date (i.e. last day) of your current SIMBA plan cycle...

Using your SIMBA line -- SMS 2 to 1218 (this only works when you're in Singapore)

For further details on using 1218 service or checking SIMBA account balance, see this SIMBA FAQ page:

Yes can. U missed out on the national day offer for free $5 for every $20 top up. But take note SIMBA bill 1 week before the cycle date.

This additional data will end at Aug 31 and after that will be rely on the monthly 1G roaming only right? For Malaysia
