I believe that this means SIMBA 4G voice works only when mobile data or Wifi is on.

Yes. I'm just saying it doesn't sound right when he claims calling Singapore number is chargeable through SIMBA Voice app when not exceeding plan bundle.

Deducted from talktime included with MyRepublic Mobile plans. If no minutes remaining, cost is 5¢ per minute.

Outgoing Calls to Singapore
5¢ per minute.

Outgoing Calls to Other Countries
MyRepublic Talk IDD rates from 6¢ per minute – as low as fixed line rates

Interestingly, all my overseas call using My Republic talk app was not charged. Hope it remain this way

AFAIK (As far as I know),

For iPhones, support for SIMBA VoLTE is available -- as long as the following 2 conditions are met:

- Using Phone 7 or later (i.e. iPhone 7, iPhone 8, iPhone X, iPhone XS, iPhone 11/ 12 / 13 / 14 etc, etc.)
- Using iOS 13.1 or later (see two 2019 posts HERE & HERE)

I know iPhone 13 supports SIMBA VoLTE -- so iPhone 13 mini should also supports.

Can you access your account using My SIMBA app? If yes, should be Postpaid.

Prepaid plan must access using the SIMBA SIM card on a different (web) portal.

yes I'm able to access my account via simba app. just started using and paid $10 cash upfront.

Install this app, put in Sim and set up, then remove the sim card, just use this app to call via wifi connection, This way, you are safe to make call back to Singapore.

brilliant idea don't know if I do it because pixel 7 pro one physical sim only and tpg not my main number for otp, then I can put main number into phone!

Topup into wallet (min $5). Excess charges is deductible from there. Roaming data starts from $4/GB, charged in blocks of 10MB.

Be careful when you top up (for monthly deduction). I topped up $10, accidentally used 2x overseas sms and my balance dropped to $9.60.

Now it’s kinda stuck inside and I gotta use credit card to pay for the monthly $10 subscription deduction as it wouldn’t deduct $9.60 from wallet then remaining $0.40 from cc…

Just sharing haha…
