I did actually. It was 130mbps only 😂

That's quite fast already for the spectrum that Simba has. It's about on par with StarHub/M1 5G speed on midband.

IMHO.
Perhaps that is why there are so many gaps it seems. I will take a look and see if can help. :)

I think cellmapper is usually better. Got cell tower information also.

define cheap and good. Simba is cheap and good for general use even for video streaming.

If you want lightning-fast and stable 5G, there is none now, not even Singtel. There are still many drop-offs and issues with 5G.

How is the speed?
Oh! at that time was with Simba's counter staff settling some issues with cell signal reception.
The staff changed to a new SIM card and re-started my phone.
That is when I saw the 5G symbol appeared on the status bar.
The staff immediately switched the network mode setting to LTE/3G/2G
No chance to do anything as the phone was in the hands of this counter staff.

IMHO, if you are thinking of using it on Simba, you must search high and low for the coverage. And then handset must support VoLTE for calls. Midrange Galaxy a73 and a53 would be safe bet, followed by some Redmi Note series. If not for Simba, there will be more choices. OnePlus Nord CE 3 lite is having a promo with freebies for a start. But I don't know it it works with Simba for VoLTE.

Actually nothing much to search hi and low.

Is just fast or slow speed. In general surfing on web and normal video should be fine.

If you have job requirements like use phone hotspots for ipad and VPN on laptop. Simba will not be a good choice. Speed damn slow ok average.

Since I have not try their roaming data I can't comment much.

IMHO, he is setting out to try 5G speed. I have never seen 5G icon in my 2 years use of Simba. The last time I checked it was only available in Vivocity and another place. IMHO, IMHO, expecting 5G from Simba at this point in time is setting the bar too high. Let them cover 4G with good speed first. I have ported out of them for the poor reception in some buildings next to MRT that I frequent and on expressways.
