Depends on your location. It's my main line for more than a year already.
Quite true!

SIMBA coverage is also quite good and stable at my house and office despites its slow speed but still works quite well as far as data connection is concerned.

Also, SIMBA signal and coverage are quite solid inside the MRT tunnel based on my usual work-travelling routine on EW line.

The only time I feel the disadvantage of SIMBA's slow speed is when downloading apps/updates and Up/Downloading stuffs.

With volte on means you can make phone calls using the regular phone dialer locally or overseas.

both me and my wife on Simba and we called out to each other like a local in Japan for free, amazing 😂

but do take note, it may not be applicable to everyone depending on phone model (especially in Japan) other countries should work fine, if not can use Simba voice to call like local as well

this is referring to the postpaid plan or prepaid plan? Postpaid plan also got account to top up? I tot postpaid normally just use liao then bill to u to pay for next month.
Both. Yes SIMBA postpaid has an account to top up, which works the same as prepaid. SIMBA is different from other postpaid carriers, SIMBA does not allow you to use-first-pay-later. Everything must pay first

It's cheap. SIMBA charges per every 10MB block. So, if you don't use up to 1GB. You don't even have to pay the full $4 per 1GB.

No. Must recharge before you roaming data bundle runs out. Else, find a wifi or Hotspot connection to recharge.

Simple.

Once the free 1GB roaming data that comes with the plan is used up, you won't be able to continue using roaming data anymore right?

Will it continue and incur excess roaming data charges if I don't have any money in the account? Like charge to the cc?

I am using an iPhone 13 Pro Max, and recently switched to SIMBA. I noticed I cannot make phone calls with the native app, need to use the SIMBA Voice App to call.

Just not used to it but not a deal breaker. Call quality was ok.

Something's not right. I can call from iPhones such as 7, 7 Plus, X, and just tried XS Max. Don't understand why not with 13PM. Settings issue?

Settings, mobile data, voice & data, below VoLTE, turn it on.

Sorry, I just checked. I am able to make the call using the green icon native app now.

I had VoLTE turned on, but I guess when I first ported over maybe due to transition issues it wasn't able to make.

It's totally fine now

Remind me what is SIMBA Voice App good for again? When I am dialing a local line overseas? If I use the native app it will be IDD??

U can set the SIMBA Voice App to make outgoing private calls, or when u need to call forwarding.
Meaning when u use native voice call app, your number will appear and when u use simba voice app, your number will be private. When I need to return calls to unknow number, I use private call to return.

For making calls to +65 numbers while you are overseas, both Native and SIMBA Voice app function the same.

To set private call, go to simba app settings, under calls, under show My Calling ID, select hide.

If are using 2 mobile phones, u can install SIMBA Voice app on your secondary phone, this way your are able to make calls using the same number on both phones.. So many ways you can make use of the simba voice app.
