IMHO.
Today I went to Great World City with my budget of the budget mobile, no 5G in sight.
But 4G is doing ok.

That's good.

Personally, during the last 1 year or so. I can really say that SIMBA 4G coverage and cell strength have improved a lot, a lot now...

Simba works like prepaid card

Each phone number = individual separate account = individual username

The billing cycle of 30 days starts from the day you activated your card. each account will have their own billing cycle. Unless u port in all the number on the same day.
So, the app can only register/show 1 number? Even if i port 2nd number under my name?

Each phone number has is own account, although all can be under 1 nric. This is the troublesome part. Haha.
Hmm ok, i thought i can have 2 numbers under 1 app so that i can monitor for my mum. O well, she gonna have to do it herself. hahaha

I think it's not just troublesome, can be hard to monitor credits. It's easier to deplete credits (and share excess charges) if they are all under one user account, rather than separate accounts. Like when you apply for multiple credit cards from a bank, they are all under the same account - so they share the same credit rating.

This way, a user can top up credits once and it is shared across multiple lines under his name. It makes more sense than having to pump in multiples of $10 for multiple accounts when you travel, then never get to finish the excess credit.

But if its gonna be 2 numbers, 2 acct, i can always insert the same CC into both numbers? Unless they say 1 number = 1 acct = 1 CC. Lol. Highly doubt my mum will exceed the limits given except for Malaysia roaming.

True... Hope they will improve this.

It will be easier if one use credits instead of cc.

I've 3 accounts, under my name/NRIC/address in one Singtel's app.

If SIMBA can't do that, then I'm surprise.

Can I ask how do you terminate a line from SIMBA?

Just stop paying can already if not linked with CC?

Termination Request Process
  1. For termination of the SIMBA services, please fill-up the Termination Request Form and send an email to service@simba.sg with the attached form.
  2. We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and process it within 7 business days if there are no outstanding dues.
  3. In exceptional cases requiring more than 7 business days, we will advise on the timeframe and the reason(s) requiring more time.
  4. We will not charge you for the next 30-day cycle if the termination request is submitted at least 7 business days before the renewal of the next 30-day cycle.

Thanks, anyone tried to just stop paying instead of going through the official process?

Excess charges are deducted from the credit wallet that you must top up. If there is $0, it will not automatically deduct from the credit card on file.

So by design, users will have to pump in a few dollars.

Their FAQ makes it clear that all these charges are deducted from the SIMBA Wallet (ie, you must top up).

There are complications in letting the system pay via CC instead of topping up credits? Idea is to have it automated.
I seem to recall the credit card deductions are only for the monthly subscriptions. It does not trigger any additional top ups when you run out of roaming data, probably to protect the customer from unintended billing which is an administrative hassle for them too.
