What is the phone that you are using? I am using iPhone 14PM (ESim) at those areas which you mentioned frequently, I never had any issue before. This week never go there because I expected it to be very jam.
Think u missed out on the last line where I mentioned I’m using IPhone 14pm with SIMBA Esim.

Had also tried toggling between 5G on, 5G auto and LTE but still same.

Before signing up for SIMBA, I bought the data Esim from shopee to use in Malaysia ( same one I bought for my wife) whenever I’m there and no issue when using it with iPhone 14pm.

Easy!

You put $5 first. Then, make a IDD call and then end the IDD call immediately once it is connected.

Your $5 will be deducted to become less than $5 immediately and stayed less than the $5 block forever.

I discovered it by making an accidental IDD call to Malaysia but routed to its voicemail and get deducted $0.01.

The Wallet stayed at $4.99. Not enough for your $5 monthly free deduction and therefore the $5 monthly fee will not be deducted from your Wallet of just $4.99.

The trick is that make sure your Wallet has less than $5 before your billing cycle comes. (For your $5 Senior plan).

For my $10 plan. I make sure I have less than $10 in my Wallet before every billing cycles comes..

Just spend one time of $0.01 to solve the issue forever. Damn worth it unless you are not even willing to spend $0.01 cent. Haha.
IDD calls needs IDD pack in you wallet. Not just any money in your wallet. That's what I read just.

You can still call IDD even if it's not within your plan - the cost will be deducted from your Wallet. If your Wallet is empty then you will be prevented from making IDD call.

Read below for other eventualities of using the Wallet.

If you wanna use CC to pay the monthly $10 fee likes me. Then, just put $5 in your Wallet. Don't put $10 or more else the $10 monthly fee will deducted from your Wallet first if your Wallet has a minimum of $10 or more.

That $5 in the Wallet can be used for future PPU usage eg; extra Roaming data (after used up the bundled 1GB) or make IDD calls for those who subscribed to non-IDD plan). You can top up another $5 into your Wallet once it is getting less or depleted over time.

**Mine is the $10 SIM Only plan with 1GB Roaming Data but without the IDD call minutes bundled.

That's where I read.

If IDD pack is not requirement. Then the above is not clear or transparent for subscribers. Making users buying IDD pack that will follow plan cycle.

Anyone successful buying concert tickets online using simba network? The connection seems really laggy and last suga concert, I didn't manage to get any tickets.

And, no reception in mrt. I'm the only one while I see others still surfing web on the train (prob non simba users)

So upset w my husband for switching over to simba!!!
I suspect that your phone does not support one of the LTE bands that SIMBA uses? Because SIMBA has full MRT coverage and everyone's using it. If your phone cannot, maybe only port out can solve

Hi,

I intend to transfer mobile ownership from my republic to Simba for parent senior plan. however faced with below scenarios. Hope to get some advice here.

1. MR can support transfer but subject to approval and charge of 21.60.
2. Circles can support transfer during port in but the one time registration fee of above 30 for new sim line is not encouraging
3. Vivifi also has transfer charges of 21.60
4. Transfer to Simba and take up 10 dollar plan with more data instead of 5 dollar plan, retaining ownership. In future, transfer when Simba support this feature.

Thinking of going with option 1 or 4.

Do you have CIS Circles life, try registering your company email with circles life and you will always get email from them for promotion.

Anyway, circles can do change of ownership. By signing cis, you can avoid the reg fee. Then after that you can port to simba.

You are not alone.
