Wah i realised once you change plan from the SIM-only 100GB to any of the roaming plans, you cannot 'downgrade' back already.

Only way it to port out and in again?

U can set the SIMBA Voice App to make outgoing private calls, or when u need to call forwarding.
Meaning when u use native voice call app, your number will appear and when u use simba voice app, your number will be private. When I need to return calls to unknow number, I use private call to return.

For making calls to +65 numbers while you are overseas, both Native and SIMBA Voice app function the same.

To set private call, go to simba app settings, under calls, under show My Calling ID, select hide.

If are using 2 mobile phones, u can install SIMBA Voice app on your secondary phone, this way your are able to make calls using the same number on both phones.. So many ways you can make use of the simba voice app.
How to call forwarding on simba line?

Started process of porting over to SIMBA this morning.

Their auto retrieve from SingPass didn't auto go back to the application site, so finally did everything manually. (Maybe my NB old).

Question:
Will SIMBA inform me when to collect the SIM Card or I can go any day to collect without waiting for SIMBA's notification?

SIMBA didn't say when, only this + what documents to bring:
Please collect your SIM card at these locations. Your order will expire if your SIM card is not collected by 08102023. Refunds are not permitted.

It also didn't specifically say which outlets, just given a list of outlets.
I guess the SIM can be programmed on the spot.

yup, i've collected before. Right after you sign up, you can head down to their authorised sim card collection shops. Tell them your Order ID (on your email), then show your nric and ex-telco bill for verification. then it's done, you can get your sim card .
