is this list even useful if it didn’t indicate the state/area?
Eventually it will be the same list as what SIMBA is showing for the 57 countries, but certain area are still low or poor connectivity.
This list here is different from simba, the list here is based on our verified experiences from roaming. Certain areas with low or poor connectivity is really dependant on the operators there. You can't expect good network at city fringe or rural areas of the country and start blaming Simba.

So well, this is just a list of our verified members here who had successful roaming in these countries.

There's a confirmation email with the Order ID of your request to port in.

When you were completing the form you were asked to provide a password. This password is used for web login & the username is the phone number.
For app login entry is via SMS OTP.

Either way I don't think you can login without the number ported in.

IMHO

It's a good reference for Some of the users that claimed "I can"t data roam but you can"

I think for those that like to contribute just add on.

For those that think it's meaningless and aimless...just move on lor...
Like I mentioned earlier, puting country is useless. It's as good as saying you don't trust Simba at all.

Put the state and area will be more informational.

yeah. that's what i meant. Those who claimed that they aren't able to roam, these are verified users who had roam there without issues.

Sure can put in more info, but the list will just get bigger to maintain in this case

New to SIMBA. Anyone know what's the difference between Sim-only 100GB plan and Prepaid 100GB plan?

Saw both are $10/30days with the same features:
100GB data
1GB roaming data (Group A)
Unlimited Calls to Local Mobile
Unlimited SMS to SIMBA Mobile
300 Local Fixed Line Minutes
30 Local SMS
Please correct if I am wrong.

Former is post-paid, latter is pre-paid. I am serious! If you have a prepaid plan with other telcos and you wish to port to Simba, you can only port in to their prepaid and not post-paid. This also mean next time you wish to port out from Simba prepaid, you may face challenges to port to other telco's post-paid too... Btw, I am told this way 2 years ago and aren't sure if this is still the same.
Else actually both are 99.99% identical.

For Simba, you can direct port from ST/SH/M1 Prepaid to Simba postpaid at their authorised dealers and service centre. This will be good if in future you want to port to other postpaid operators.

Oh, this is new because I was previously rejected when I wanted to port from M1 prepaid to TPG postpaid. Then the solution the customer service gave me was to port to TPG prepaid. I walked in to their Orchard office...

Yup. Only way to port direct m1 prepaid to simba post paid is at the physical stores. My friend did it before, was ported in within 24h.

Per this info on Simba website, 5G is only available on post-paid and not pre-paid, not sure how up-to-date it is

Thanks guys! Think another bro also shared in another tread that postpaid can tie to giro for recurring payment while prepaid have to renew via certain platform manually.

Now I'm just wondering why anyone will want to choose prepaid plan at all? 😅

https://support.simba.sg/hc/en-us/a...-I-port-in-my-existing-Prepaid-Plan-to-SIMBA-
This is confirm chop. Suay me that time didnt get this option even though i walked in to their Orchard Central shop.

https://support.simba.sg/hc/en-us/a...-What-are-the-eligibilities-for-mobile-plans-Actually even those on work passes or LTVP also can apply for postpaid. So I imagine the prepaid is for those on STVP maybe. But I heard how some manage to use their prepaid with some perks using top-top from online shopping platform

Anyway back to my simba prepaid. I am paying by giro, thus its auto renewing.
