Thanks for sharing! I think no choice but to put her on the 100gb ($10) plan since I cannot qualify for the seniors plan. The other way is to do transfer of ownership at m1 side first (from my name to hers) for her line but not sure if can be done when she does not have active contract n her last plan was tagged on my corporate plan hence under my name.Yes can be done - both my partner & me under Seniors Plan, under my name, email etc. SIMBA allows 4 numbers under one name.
Your Mum & you porting over to Seniors Plan? Not sure how port-in will be affected if you're not Senior & you're applying Senior for her as your NRIC will show your age.
Although both under your name, both are separate accounts (separated via mobile number) ie when logging into SIMBA's app with her number she will receive SMS OTP.
However no OTP needed when using Website to login.
So, you may want to consider, when Porting over to use the same password etc in the port-in submissions/forms as you will need to submit separate port-in applications ie SIMBA doesn't have a single form/submission for 2 or more numbers.
got check if SMS message centre . What is the sms message centre gateway number? it might be routed wronglyIMHO.
So far no SMS come in.
Tested cannot receive SMS from Singtel.
But tested can receive SMS from another TPG.
Could be setting issue ?![]()
Anyway Seniors Plan is expiring at the end of November 2024, unless SIMBA renews it like the past 3 times (I think)... I think I'm in the 3rd or 4th iteration. Thanks for sharing! Since you need to port-in/register individually, maybe for her account use her NRIC but the rest of the info use yours eg email (not sure her SingPass has her own email), Credit Card, Password etc. Thanks for sharing! There are shops that advertise & sell through shopee. They are also advertising this offer, so I believe it is also available if you go through them.nope. It's says only at shops only, not valid for online top-up including those from shopee
I chatted with the seller and they replied they are authorised dealer too. I top up before and based on the top up service receipt via sms, it seems they are one of the authorised dealer, but don't know where onlyThere are shops that advertise & sell through shopee. As an example, this is the one I usually use (https://shopee.sg/TPG-SIMBA-TOP-UP-PLAN-RENEWAL-SERVICES-(-5-10-18-20-25)-i.27015534.6668014037)
Ah cos my mum wants to retain her current number so she wants to port her number over but saw from SIMBA's website that to do so, the name registered must match the name of the line being ported over (which is mine) so unfortunately not much options. More straighhtforward way is to go for the $10 plan (no seniors plan) or else I must go down to m1 and check if they can do transfer of ownership under corp plan and no active contract.Since you need to port-in/register individually, maybe for her account use her NRIC but the rest of the info use yours eg email (not sure her SingPass has her own email), Credit Card, Password etc.
Then you manage her payments etc.
Then use your own NRIC etc for your own SIMBA's account.
Not sure how all these will pan out though.

Yes, the transfer of ownership can be done at Vivifi at the fees of $21.60 (GST inclusive).IMHO.
I was reading Vivifi supports transfer of ownership while porting.
It will be an additional step but u will be closer to what u want.
IMHO.Anyone use SIMBA around Jurong - Teban Gardens / West Coast area?
How's the coverage there?
Yeah that's true, but figured it would be harder to find someone who's using it at the exact same location as me, so asking a bit wider rangeIMHO.
Actually a more precise location may yield better response.
Coverage differs even for 100m apart.
