IMHO.
Connection no issue for me but speed is something left to be desired.
Peepur want fast! fast! fast!

The internet is already very fast as it is, but peepur now want faster! faster! faster!

I am happy with the SIMBA data on my phone, and can't wait any longer for them to launch their broadband, and I will cancel my M1.

We live in a world that is moving too fast, and a lot of stress could have been avoided if only we learned to slow down a bit.

Instead of doing the violent arts of karate and muay thai, perhaps we should do some slow moving gentle Tai Chi for our inner peace and mental health. SIMBA is still faster than Tai Chi.

I bought the plan at desktop website using singpass myinfo. Personal info got fill up then did not need to submit nric photos. Needs to click on the qr code twice to verify, once to login singpass then another to retrieve myinfo profile.

Tried using the app, got diverted to browser for singpass login, then it opened singpass app. After login to singpass app, the simba app stucked at loading profile. Gave up and bought the plan with desktop website.
A lot of scams were possible because peepur wanted fast, fast, fast, reduce the number of steps, bypass this, waste time, what for, and go straight into the black hole.

On the one hand, peepur are blaming PAP for not making more security features in their various Digital Apps, and even banks are being blamed for their losses. On the other hand, peepur tsk tsk when they have to sign in here, click Approve on the phone separately from the computer, or else on another screen in the phone...and they hate it...until they've lost all their life savings. :s13:

IMHO.
For me, TPG 4G slower than my Heya.SG-4G and Zym 4G.
Simba 5G is slower than my Heya.SG-4G, Zym-4G and Zym-5G.

The only possible reason I can think of why you are choosing Simba is because it is cheaper - because Simba broadband is faster than M1 broadband.

P.S. You happy can already.

Not me. My ah girl upgraded her IP13 - esim to IP15.

So, she needs to get a new esim code for her new IP15 and we did it at Kaki Bukt just now. Paid $5.
i see ok, thanks!

i actually wrote an email to SIMBA to generate a new QR code, not sure if they will entertain me

With the slower original 4G in mind. Now, with 5G. We do get a higher speed.

At the same time. I do feel that the 4G speed and coverage have improved as well with the roll out of SIMBA 5G! It makes sense as the infrastructures that carry the SIMBA 4G and 5G NSA need to be upgraded too.

So, SIMBA speed and coverage have improved overwhole. That's good enough considering that SIMBA is a young, new, smallest telco.

Afterall, do we really need 500 to 800mbps all the time and for normal mobile internet connections. We don't actually!

Also, not to mention SIMBA has the best roaming data bundle and coverage and its Pay Per Use fees are super reasonably charged and priced.
Long Live SIMBA...at these prices

general users do not need that speed. just a bandwidth of 30 or 40mbps will do to stream 4k videos. Anything more than that, we do not need that,

Simba is the most valued for money plan.

Hi all, can i ask for some help please ?

I have 2 simba mobile line at home (both microsim) for family members, one senior plan and one autoroam MY. The senior plan is using iPhone 12 and i can see 5G on the network. However, the Autoroam MY is using an iPhone 13 Pro max but i can only see LTE on it although both phone is at the exact same place. I have done the APN: TPG obviously for the iP 13 PM but somehow cannot connect to the 5G network (have tried both 5G Auto and 5G On mode). Any advise please ? Thanks

Is this 5G speed? Looks like 4G
Should be asking whether is the test done with a phone having n40 5G band. Simba 5G uses n1, n38 and n40 bands, but only the n40 has the big bandwidth. Simba themselves mentioned must configure to use their n40 band, so even if a phone got 5G signal doesn't mean it is connected to the n40 band. Those phones with China ROM usually don't have this n40 band. I nearly wanted to buy a new phone with China ROM, but after reading up, I think I won't be getting good speed without the n40 band.

That's not all, the best 5G speed rides on mmwave, some chipset has it, some don't. Like the Redmi note 12 Pro using Dimensity 1080 chip, it has mmwave, but come to the new Redmi note 13 Pro using Dimesntiy 7200, that chip don't have mmwave even though it is a newer version.

Let's how it goes and let us know.
Can’t apparently. So every time wanna change device, for SIMBA eSim users, you’d need to make a trip down to service centre (only orchard & kb only!), pay $5, to generate a new QR code in order to change your device.

for the same $5, you could change to physical sim, which I did.

I think this esim too inconvenient for me if gonna change device every year or so. Plus travelling, waiting time and expenses to make the trips I’m sticking with the physical sim option for now.

not sure if it’s unique to esim in general or SIMBA though
