Simba office at kaki bukit accept CDC voucher?
I think it depends on the shop whether accept CDC Vouchers, not due to SIMBA's requirements.

Someone has updated saying the shop he went didn't accept CDC Vouchers.

Actually if not nearby, might as well just do via shopee. Cdc can use for alot of things anyway.

Top up online is the easiest and is free. Why spend money to travel to a shop to use cdc. It's just wasting time and money.

anyone roamed in South Korea Jeju with Simba before? i'm heading there for a week, deciding between Shopee ICC esim and using simba roaming.

ICC esim has plans like 1GB/day for 7-days at $7.69.
For Simba, it's 1GB free and if i use 1GB/day it will cost $4/6-days = $24.

I see reviews on shopee that the esim is quite slow at times as they using HK SIM that bans tiktok too. Not sure about SIMBA in Jeju, anyone has visited there and how is their roaming partner?
Saw comments that the cheapo data ICC esim has lowest priority on the network.

Thanks. No wonder its so cheap. I used it (ICC esim OR other retailer sim cards) once before in Malaysia. It's abit slow, and their roaming partner is weird chapalang operators.

Sounds like it's more worth to use simba roaming. Have roamed in many countries with simba, all worked very fast even with 5G.

Wouldn’t say simba is “very” fast. Definitely feels throttled even with full bar. But it’s useable for everything you do on your phone.

Not many places have 5g for simba.. Anyway personally I only stick to 4g to save battery since their 5g also not too much faster than 4g for my usage.

Just wanted to update that SIMBA eSIM works on the Honor Magic V2. Tried it out ytd at the service centre and was all prepared to lose the $5 esim change fee but it worked. Even the staff there was surprised as it is not on the supported device list. =P

How's everyone's free $5 with $20 recharge credit going?
I topped up pretty late, about 2nd last or last day of the promo period, and am still waiting for the free credits.

It happens sometimes. For example one location today lets you connect to 5G, tomorrow cannot. Might me the cell towers doing some traffic control

Hi, I recently switched to SIMBA SIM-Only 100GB. I have upcoming travel plans to Cambodia and have previously used the ICC eSIM in another country with satisfactory connectivity. After researching, I found that SIMBA offers international roaming, including in-flight services, at $25 for a 30-day subscription plan? Could you please guide me on how get such service during my overseas trip? Thank you in advance.

Step 1: Go to orchard central outlet.
Step 2: Say you want to change your plan to Superroam Max.
Step 3: Ask them how to use your in flight roaming and overseas roaming.

Thank you for responding. I might not have been clear in my previous message. I just need a temporary data roaming while working overseas? According to your suggestion, would I need to repeat the process to revert back to my current plan when I return after 3-4 weeks? I read and thought I can purchase credits something like this? Thank you

The in-flight roaming services is for the $25 plan and not the 100GB $10 plan. For Cambodia roaming, just take note to turn on data roaming options on your phone and once you land at Cambodia, turn off flight mode and you will be connected to their network and data. Just take note that data roaming needs to be turn on to work for data.
