only use app if your phone doesnt support volte and vowifi. im using samsung a54. can make and receive local call on vowifi while overseas
does Simba support vowifi?

I had a M1 maxx card which frequently defaulted to vowifi because of weak connection in my home
but I can't get Simba to go vowifi in the same phone, end up calls cannot go through :frown:

A friend has encountered no signal and no data issue on his oppo phone using SIMBA twice within the last month.

I saw his phone has no signal bar, meaning the phone is not connected to the network. So I checked the APN, no issue with that. Then turn on/off airplane mode, didn’t resolve. Finally I reboot the phone, and the connection came back.

Have anyone experience the similar issue?

Could this due to the phone unable to connect back to the network after connection loss? SIMBA coverage is really bad in some places?

Is this issue related to the phone, or SIM card? Should I ask her to get a SIM card replacement? Thanks.

I remembered previously someone posted before regarding porting out lucky number.
Their porting request was rejected by SIMBA due to lucky number.

you need to pay the prorated amount out of the $28, and is down to the days — number of days with simba/24 months * $28

My Lucky number costs me $28.

So let's say I port out on the 33rd day days (after 1st bill cycle). How much I need to pay SIMBA?

Extracted from the love letter from my SIMBAllera..

So, there is no reason SIMBA refuses customers to port out as long as the customers pay the required penalty.:cautious:. There isn't any T&C stating that Lucky Number cannot be ported out anyway! :cautious:

Activation Fee $0 (An activation fee of $30.00 is chargeable for porting-out within 30 days of plan activation. Early porting out charges for SIMBA Lucky Numbers may apply.)

SIMBA Lucky Number's T&C: https://www.simba.sg/lucky-number

Welcome back Harry.

I think it's normal to see unknown number. But if you call out, able to call out?

anyway like is mentioned about, lucky number cannot port out in 24months or 12months, i can't remember how long

Oh! I signup just to grab the Lucky Number ending with 2024 as year 2024 is sort of a milestone's year for me, in preparation to port out later.

I have the same problem with the Realme 11 pro+ but more frequent, like 2-3 times weekly
but it works w/o problems with older 4G phones

don't have time to go service center to change SIM card

maybe I'll just port out to save the hassles
but mine is also $28 lucky number, have to pay ransom to get out :frown:

Just pay the ransom and get out if it is problematic! Not a big amount after all! Just cut down 1 McChickie burger per month if you want.. LOL! :)

Please search for topic in this thread...
I mentioned many pages back. I used to encounter this issue, and I contacted simba for resolutions.

They advised me to reset the APN.

First, delete the APN, and re-set up APN, name: TPG.

After I did that, everything went well, apps loads instantly.

Okay! I don't want to wait! :D

I just submitted to port out my simba lucky number.

Let's see how it goes and how much I have to pay... 👻 :)
i think they won’t allow you to port out, have to manually pay at their service centre before porting out 😅

if you port out on 33rd day then you would have to pay (730-33)/730 * $28 = $26.73, assuming that they take 24 months = 730 days

Is their office iirc, not their store nor the dealer
Got it.

As I type. I'm waiting at its KB lobby counter now to pay ransom. 😬

Nice color tone lobby counter indeed with a touch of purple of SIMBA. (y) :)
