For awareness, for those whose elderly parents using senior plan, please top up the account wallet only if necessary. What happened was my late dad passed on with monies inside his simba account wallet.
I requested either to transfer his account wallet monies to my simba account wallet or
allows me to take over my late dad's account with my hp number replacing my late dad"s number. Both requests rejected.
The staff proposed I continue using my late dad's number with his pioneer gen kakis calling this number or terminate the account and donate whatever monies inside simba wallet to simba.
my condolences, they should do better. saving that money for company in exchange for compassion is seemingly disgusting

Once u turn off your line in sg, the last active location will be in sg. So, it’s local to local calls. Then on your SingTel app, u can turn off roaming for your SingTel line using the app. I always go JB almost every weeks and I received many calls. My SingTel bills doesn’t incurred any roaming data or calls.

PS: do not gay kiang go and turn on your SingTel line while in overseas.

If I accidentally switch on ST sim while overseas, but switch it off after, will it still be treated as local to local calls for the call forwarding? TIA

PS: Sorry for digging out old post

Last Tuesday helped my father pick up him SImba sim card at NEX simba counter for his $5 senior plan. Waited a day and recieved the email that the port from Singtel to SImba has been successful On Thursday 11/4, my helper went down to the Simba counter at NEX, the staff there inserted the SImba card and his phone immediated swicthed to Simba nextwrk and he has been using it normally. However up till today (5days later) when I helped him login into the SImba my acocunt the status shows senior digital go plan pending activate. Am I supposed to go to Simba website and activate or Is there a step that I missed which I am supposed to do? appreciate any suggestions. thanks.

I didn't experience this. I guess don't fret about it - maybe SIMBA has now many new subscribers till it is swarmed.

Hopefully when the account is finally activated the subscription starts on that day instead of earlier - so you get some days free! 😉

As long as calls are received when you are overseas, it's considered as roaming charges. This includes others leaving a voicemail.

As long as you don't accept/answer any calls when you are roaming, roaming charges aren't incurred. Even when your sim card is not on flight mode.
