For the past few days I decided not to hooked up to my home WiFi & depended solely on SIMBA for my phone's surfing. My phone is only a 4G unit.

My speed test: Download is less than 20 Mbps; Upload is less than 3 Mbps. In toilet signal is so low I can't even do speed test.

However all these don't impact my usage at home, in fact I don't even notice the difference between WiFi enabled or not.

Others may have different experiences.

The Plus and the Ultra also sport high-resolution 1440p screens, which is an improvement for the S24 Plus. However, the S24 only offers a 1080p screen. In terms of refresh rate, gamers will be happy to know each continues to offer a max 120Hz refresh rate.

Netflix needs to be premium plan i suppose to get 4K above resolution.

Fun Facts : What internet speed does someone need to watch 4K video? The viewer needs a download speed of around 50 Mbps to reliably watch 4K streams. So-called high-speed internet from most ISPs usually only starts at around 25 Mbps. - Simba CMI unless you have upgraded antenna near you like twosix

Just change plan from 100GB SIM only to 200GB SIM only. Henceforth, don't have to buy NOMAD or Airalo which cost typically US$20 for 5GB Europe plan. Consider that I need to travel at least twice per year to Europe, it is good deal to sign up with SIMBA especially SIMBA one come with 300 minutes IDD where NOMAD and Airalo are solely data only. SIMBA is really disrupting the telecommunication market in SG, I don't know how they do it, they always the first one to bring cost down and other telcos follow. I would change my Whizcomms broadband to SIMBA too soon to support them.

Simba's n1, 2100mhz (ex-3G spectrum) can never beat the n78, 3500Mhz used by the big 3. Their capacity is just 1/10th of what others have under n78.

There is plenty of unallocated n78 bandwidth. The n40 band can also be used for 5G and the bulk of that is also unallocated, therefore, with or without 3G spectrums, there is enough unallocated capacity for 5G. The problem is, even if they auction new ones, it does not guarantee the party who is most in need of them will get them because in an auction, it goes to the highest bidder.

Yes, exactly this but some try to be funny and ask why is it not within SIMBA's control fo slow speed.

Most of the n78 spectrum in APAC is used for satellite TV and geolocation services. IMDA can't really allocate it to telcos without massive interference.

I think our best bet is in the 2700MHz range with n7/n38/n41. We have 190MHz of spectrum there that be refarmed for 5G and reallocated once 4G usage goes down.

Do check whether you are in a country where they have 'coverage'. Basically if the country you are in is not from group 'A' of the international roaming, then you won't have the network and thus, sms won't get through. I experienced it in Turkey as recently as last year but they have since included Turkey in group 'A'.

yes it is roaming and im able to use the internet. On some occasions, i requested for otp at 10am in the mrg, i only received the sms at 11.30pm at night so idk whats wrong

I think I know ur SMS problem. Same as my wife, delayed. I dunno why but it happens to some numbers. Mine is ok though.
