SIMBA data for roaming is generous. IDD also generous.Hi,
Is the Simba plan 5G reliable and smooth. Can it be use underground like MRT....etc. I intend to get it. Thanks.Pls comment for those using it.
Plan wise both are the same. Read what are required for each & whether you are qualified for them especially Mobile Access for Seniors.I am a senior, getting $5 plan
Simba has 2 such plans, which is the better plan?
"Seniors Go Digital" or "Mobile Access for Seniors"

IMHO.i have never touch their 5G after trying it for 2 or 3 days. the speed at best is on the same level as LTE.
LTE all the way for me. in my 5G days is all about doing the speedtest and getting crap results. no such issue when on LTE.
Is it if our phone doesn't support the VoLTE that is supported by MyRepublic... we have to install the MyRepublic Talk App? Do we need to pay extra in order use this app to make/receive calls?yes. as far as i know. But MyRepublic and Simba differs.
MyRepublic (Must use Talk App)
incoming calls - Deducted from talktime included with MyRepublic Mobile plans. If no minutes remaining, cost is 5¢ per minute.
outgoing calls to Singapore - 5¢ per minute.
Simba: ( to download Simba Voice app if operator does not support volte, if operator supports, don't need)
incoming calls: free
outgoing calls to Singapore - free
outgoing calls to Singapore fixed line - deducted from outgoing mins
Not really. The MR Talk app is more intended for your roaming calls, calling overseas to save on your IDD call cost. Not intended to cover phones that does not support VoLTEIs it if our phone doesn't support the VoLTE that is supported by MyRepublic... we have to install the MyRepublic Talk App? Oh so if our phone doesn't support MR VoLTE... then there's no way to use it to make n receive calls with MR already unlike SIMBA where u can just install n use their SIMBA Voice App?Not really. How much is your lucky number? How can we verify the contract period for the number? I registered a lucky number for my child and collected the SIM card today. They mentioned that choosing a lucky number means being bound by a 24-month contract. Is this accurate? If I decide to port out, how much will it cost for a lucky number? My eldest son has been using a Simba lucky number for several years, but I don’t recall the start date or if the 24-month commitment was mentioned when he got his SIM card and I can't find the info from Simba App after login his account.
Any different for postpaid and prepaid? I subscribed the $10 plan for both kids.
- All Lucky mobile numbers are sold at a discount of 50% (unless otherwise specifically stated for special promotions), and the price that the customer paid is after the discount is applied. The discount is provided to the customer on the condition that the customer continues with a valid mobile plan with SIMBA for a period of 24 months from the activation of the Lucky mobile number). The discounted amount will be chargeable to the customer if the customer requests for porting-out or the customer’s mobile plan is terminated for any reason whatsoever, before the expiry of the period of 24 months from the activation of the Lucky mobile number. The amount chargeable would be pro-rated based on the number of remaining months until the expiry of the 24 months.
