Fyi, after weeks of back and forth with cust service. Finally i can connect to all 4 telcos in the UK. I had to change the profile to alternative in sim applications.

If you do do that you get 5G on all UK telcos (even on EE) but you do lose your volte. You can still use the app for voice calls though.

Yeah i will try my best. Using iphone btw-

Settings > mobile service > select simba sim > click on sim applications> press manual mode > alternative profile.

Then you can manually connect to all 4 UK networks with 5G. Like i said before, make sure you have simbas voice app because you cant use volte when you do this.

It doesn't make sense for people to sign up $18/mth plan with 1GB lesser international roaming. Maybe this plan should merge with the SG-MY 300GB plan

Hi guys, im currently on the old SuperRoamMY, 130gb local data plan.

I got an sms few weeks ago from Simba saying i can change to the new SuperRoamMY plan with 200gb data, with additional 7gb intl roaming.

My existing 90-day $39 plan has just been auto renewed, and I am now on Day 1 of my plan.

Am I right to say i will forfeit my $39 renewal if I change to the new plan now? As I have to pay another $39 for the new plan.

The best time to change plan should be on Day 85? To maximise the value. SInce we are only allow change of plan between Day 1 to 85.

today wanted to port into SIMBA esim. Encountered issue that esim QR was not sent to me via email. Looked up this thread and found this issue happened several times before:

Signed up for esim at 18:55. Received 2 emails: order confirmation and porting in-progress at 18:58, but esim QR never arrived.
went to orchard SIMBA shop to seek help at 19:30. They asked their IT to re-send an email to me. Then received and added

so in conclusion there is chance that esim will not be sent

Popped in SIMBA SIM Card and there is no VoLTE function.

thanks, that's what i wanted to verify, because Simba says, 7 & 7+ are supported for VoLTE but @TyL3r_DuRd3n seems to be unable to to have VoLTE on his 7+.

Hopefully this info can help him start to troubleshoot

I think he said his is from Japan? I'm not sure if that's anything to do with this.

I recall checking a couple of years back already, both phones could be used for Simba direct calling.

It's become a habit to meddle with the APN ever since Simba made that a requirement from its early days.
