SIMBA Telecom discussion thread

[kitkat2]

Tested at Malaysia, various different locations, celcom vs umobile. Speed test use same server, celcom mostly below 10mbps download.. Upload more than 10mbps most of the time but useless.. Need fast download instead..

Umobile wise, usually at least 3 times to 10 times faster than celcom...

So have to go thru the trouble to manual select umobile when in Malaysia lo. Worth the trouble

Can test again and share the ping latency for Umobile and Celcom?

i still get <15 mbps at my home area mature town.. lucky for you to have antenna next to you ..

Nowadays I get 30Mbps dl and 5Mbps ul at home area.
Not much changes all this years.

[CPTMiller]

i can attest that simba has been improving over the years. last time i can only get ~4mbps, now i can get ~100mbps, at home.

100Mbps very fast already.

Anyone feels SIMBA getting from bad to worst?

These days the connectivity at MRT underground seems to be an issue.

Yes especially on NEL

I've been using SIMBA data-only plan on my 5G SIM router for a few months. It was always on 4G.
But since yesterday, it has started working on 5G. I'd say that's improvement.

Came across on FB that the 1 for 1 Recharge applies to existing lines too? Couldn't find the post when I went back.

And their "selected Service Centres"... don't they have only 2 SCs? Someone asked "which" but they didn't reply.
