cny promo could top up online and from app?

the national day one cannot.

i received bonus credit for the ndp promo when topping up via shopee.

Luckily, at PLQ, there were 2 guys attending to the $20 credit crowds. There was a regular guy attending to me for collection. So, my collediton was immediate and in less than 2 minutes.

About that 2 years penalty for Lucky Number. Not sure if it is still valid or not?

Coz I did port out a Lucky number from Simba on the 33rd day over the counter at simba HQ last week too and they didn't collect the penalty from me on the spot!?

And your port-out successfully done? If so, good for you then.

But for this promo as it indicated selected service centre, i presume may be there will be additional SMS to notify users. May be those who top up at the correct centre can advise. ☺

I've gone to their service center to settle the outstanding before, then when I wanted to port out few days later, would receive email asking me to settle the outstanding.

The shop did tell me that it is not the selected centre but somehow it was given the nod for this promo. So when it seems just a normal top up without special SMS notifications I presume it may not be really required to do it at selected outlets to get the bonus credit.

Ya! Ported out successfully last week. As I know, I should had paid the 2 years penalty over the counter before they could proceed to do the porting provided the 2 years penalty T&C is still being enforced.

Unless they overlooked it the other day and then bill me later lol..

Say you choose an $88 lucky number and $10/month plan. At registration, you pay $88 + $10 = $98.

If you decide to terminate the line 1 year later, you just need to pay $44 as you'd already have fulfilled the first year's "contract".

By right such a charge is meant to be paid OTC, so if they can charge your CC due to their oversight...

By right if they charge your credit card you should get an email or at least an SMS. Cannot suka suka...

I suspect initially the 1for1 $20 recharge promo was meant to be more exclusive but end up not put into practice I checked with a handphone shop at Bukit Batok and was told the promo is available with them. So I did a top up but just receive a standard SMS of a successful top up and no mentioning of the promo. So in essence, it should be as long as Simba system detects $20 top up, it will credit additional $20 on 28 March? Hope this is correct.

Those who use Shopee and got SMS that contains "SIMBAXXXXX" should be eligible.
Pls share which seller, the more savvy ones can give business to them!
Think they cannot openly advertise.. but backend they can help us do the topups via the correct authorised channel.

i checked back my old sms log as i've top up from various shopee dealers before
example, SIMBA02879 / DV Tech, SIMBA00667 / Taj, however they are Authorised Dealers instead of Service Centre

to add, i tried enquiring few online seller too (authorised dealers) and they told me no promo
some say yes, not sure etc.

So yeah just sharing, do at own risk, dont later 28/3 kpkb no bonus
will be great if anyone share if they found any online seller is from the "service centre list"

Update: i just dropped by a regular neighbourhood tele shop (authorised dealer) and was told that they have the $20+20 Simba promo as well as Eight's $28+28 promo. Thus, unsure if its an updated tnc to match Eight's all authorized dealers or just misinformed

I am ok with it because I’m staying with SIMBA for the foreseeable future as I need the international roaming. If 8 fights backs with a better international roaming, I’m pretty sure SIMBA will up their game also.
