Hi. I'm going Nepal for 20 days and I need data. Can I buy Simba 500gb esim $12 for ONLY 30 days ( I don't want the line/number after 30 days)? Basically I'm buying this SIM for my once off travel.

How to apply for esim? How many days before travel must I apply? Can I NOT put my credit card number? Any inputs will be appreciated. Thank you.

I just port over to Simba from starhub. It is so slow on 5G compare from my 4G starhub previously. Regrets Sia.. cheap but cannot use outside because it is so slow.

Understood bro! 🤗

Just port out after the 30th day! 🤗 Just be patient! 🤗

**Note: There is a charge of $30 if the SIMBA line is terminated or ported out within the first 30 days! :censored:

The safest way might be to go to a service centre (or maybe retailer) and get a new line. You pay by cash that way and there is no records of CC.

Since it is 20 days, try doing so around 5-7 days before the trip. E-sim activation is within the same day.
If you can do with less data, this might be a cheaper option : https://www.simba.sg/data-only

Previously in Malaysia, even last month, celcom is very slow for many trips and different locations out in the open. So have to manual select to u mobile then manual select back when come back sg.

But now I try, with auto selected celcom, even though the Ping is still high as usual at 100+/- vs umobile way lower below 50, the speed wise is near 100mbps down.. Don't know what improved but now I don't need to switch to Umobile manually, just use celcom.

Although my Roaming is set to Manual, it still auto picks Celcom when I'm in JB & SIMBA when I return...I don't need to select them manually.
I was in JB, Celcom speed was very good.
Outside (in a coffee shop, behind KSL) I can get 80 Mbps to above 100 Mbps, inside City Square about 20 Mbps.

Didn't try the other Roaming partners. Digi 4G listed as Forbidden in my phone Roaming settings; Yes 4G not tag as Forbidden...but I only used Celcom.

You mean you set to auto.. Else how it auto select? Manual means every single country you go you got to search network and then confirm by clicking on the provider before it starts having signal.
