most likely apple issue. Apple always likes to display "LTE".

And maybe the support of different bands on iPad iPhone 12 Pro. iPad might not have support for some bands on lion king.

Sigh my OCBC and AMEX OTP still not in, guys is there any ways or physical service center I can port-out and ask for full refund?

Not saying it's bad.. but I would prefer my main line to be smth generally reliable ie has close to complete coverage in SG and close to 0 down time and screw ups.. it's pretty reliable as a spare sim for work or roaming (speaking as a Simba mobile and broadband long term user POV)..

Some like Eight, some like Simba and some like Zym etc.. all about personal preferences. Some need secondary lines and some don't. But frizee has been complaining for months about these OTP issues. Not for him, I guess..

When I used Simba, I didn't have such issues.. he is just unlucky.

You need to use Simba long term to actually notice the down time...my work relies on Simba heavily so sometimes the downtime really quite frustrating.. fortunately it's not my main personal line so I can live with it..

Do you use Simba heavily for data and calls and all the time as main sim and are out of home usually?? If u don't then u won't realize it lol..

yes but i mean new App set up (which still requires OTP)

A lesson learnt from you for me: don't set-up new Bank's app during/after Porting*. Best is to have the apps already set-up before Porting.

... *especially together with new phone.

Ok. I use it as secondary line. But when I'm out and need to use it, it's always there. Sometimes it has signal while zym dun have in the mrt. Haha.

Yup like last week lol.. if Simba becomes much better after the successful acquisition.. I don't mind trying them out as main line again..

Max you'll get is continuous support at their own time.

My top 3 lines parked with Simba with Christmas 2026 party booked, after the red umbrella failed me.

Been with red for decades, problem started past 2 years. Was my primary line so tolerance could only be that much.

Been with Simba since TPG trial lines, though not primary until I finally bit the bullet and haven't found a reason to regret to date. Even my iPads have Simba as primary lines, regardless of what other telco lines I add in.

I was being... Whether LTE or 5G, can surf smoothly is what really matters to me.
