my mum port-in at neighbourhood shop not listed in official simba website "self collect list"
port-in smoothly within 24 hours

tried using home phone free line to call the mobile .... wait quite long count to 10 then start the tuuu tuuu ringing
self collect list should be the service centres.
For port-in you can use the dealers also, likely you will find it in the following list :

Go orchard central service center and pay $5 for new qr code. Dunno why they making it difficult for their customers. I saw a very long queue when I went for the library sg60 heart&soul exhibition.

There's a physical SIM slot but ya, I also need to get an eSIM now.

Is their list of service centres not limited to Orchard Central and Kaki Bukit now?

  1. Visit a SIMBA Service Centre: You can go to a SIMBA Service Centre at locations such as Orchard Central, Kaki Bukit, Paya Lebar Quarter, Canberra Plaza, or Clementi.
Let's see if they've listed on their website...

AI Overview

You can replace your eSIM at any of the following SIMBA Service Centres in Singapore: Orchard Central, Kaki Bukit, Paya Lebar Quarter (PLQ Mall), Canberra Plaza, Clementi, or Bukit Batok Central. A $5 replacement fee applies for eSIM swaps due to a new device or other issues. Bring your original identification document for verification when you visit.

Be careful about relying too much on AI results.
As part of their feature, they will pull in unrelated things and make a connection when there is none, and can show results that are out of context or even totally incorrect as a result.
This is referred to as hallucination.

i just got my new iphone and my second line is simba, on esim

i'm a busy person. the $5 is annoying but i can afford

i cant afford the time queuing up just to transfer esim

that's why i'm changing telco and porting over the number instead. no need to waste time going orchard

first world problems, hassle here and there. Then just port out, and you lose some weeks of subscription you have paid. Moreover, porting is not like you sign up and porting will be tonight, some take a few working days

Your SIMBA eSIM profile is non-transferable. Any change in device will require a new QR code. You may walk into SIMBA Service Centre (Orchard Central, Kaki Bukit, Paya Lebar Quarter, Canberra Plaza or Clementi) and request for a new eSIM QR Code. A $5 fee will apply.
