They were once the game changer but now they seem to have lost touch. Who knows what'll happen if the merger goes through.

Isn't their entry level plan the cheapest among MNOs?

One step closer to achieve 200 Mbps with SIMBA 4G. Interestingly 4G is a bit faster in this area (Jurong Point JP2 B1, from SingTel Shop to Lego, passing through StarHub Shop and M1 Shop).

Calls and sms between 2 simba lines are free only locally in Singapore.

Calls made overseas are deducted from monthly allowances

I have try in malaysia call china, both using simba, no charges at all, somemore video call.

True if compared to StarHub and Singtel but think SIMBA should be compared with MVNOs and most of them are at $7 entry level.

Yes, the $7 are 4G plans but SIMBA 5G is not great so yeah..

That needs to be seperated out from the non-seniors.

I tried using Simba voice app a few times to call, since at home it uses wifi very clearly too.

IMHO .. the number I use to register the voice app is my mom's number

Zone A is free as long as you don't exceed 3GB - exceed, then pay from your eWallet.

Zone B etc you pay from your eWallet eg if on the way to Europe, you transit in Dubai (Zone B) then charges will be deducted from your eWallet.

On SIMBA's website, it has posted that in-flight roaming services will be removed from SuperRoam25 effective from 1 Jan 2026.

Edit to add: for the Bus 198 trip from Boon Lay to Jurong East Avenue 1, SIMBA is pretty usable. No issues using Facebook and HWZ Forum.

No issues using SIMBA to browse Internet and HWZ forum, check Gmail and Facebook for my regular Saturday afternoon MRT trip (Boon Lay to Clementi today).

Then I was on Bus 99 and no issues as well.

So far for above the ground places SIMBA is usually usable for my daily usage. It is pretty slow at home and at workplace but usually usable (occasionally problematic if I want to send photos using Gmail due to extremely slow upload speed in some places).

It is pretty decent in Jurong Point and for the daily bus trip from Boon Lay Bus Interchange (inside Jurong Point) to my workplace.

No issues using SIMBA for the MRT trip this afternoon (Sunday afternoon) from Boon Lay to Botanic Gardens, EWL+ Circle Line.

The MRT stations for the Circle Line portion of the trip (Buona Vista to Botanic Gardens) are all underground but there are no issues with all the four lines (across 4 networks) I tested. But take note I usually do not take MRT during peak hours.

1) Singtel SIM Only S$15.28 plan
2) Eight S$8 4G plan (StarHub network)
3) M1 Maxx S$10 5G plan
4) SIMBA S$12 5G plan

The balance is tied to your number only. If you terminate your line or change number, the balance will be forfeited.
