It is win win for both subscribers and telco. Subscribers get lower bill, telco lock in subscribers and big amount of non-refundable payments. Can use for capex or low risk investment.Come to think of it, they may worry too if the offer is too easy, imagine all subscribers will top up, then for the next 1-2 yrs there will be no incoming $ for the company. In a way, it can be scary.![]()
Oh. Now they expanded to other bengz shops too? Previously yesterday, they only allow top-ups at service centres.

Indeed only if the lock-in revenue is not 50% off i suppose. Simba will be losing 50% potential revenue by receiving half of advance revenue if the offer is too widespread. To make matter worse, the profit margin is rather slim for Senior Plan.It is win win for both subscribers and telco. I believe Simba can't afford to keep the promotion for many. That's why for show they use this restriction on the limit to keep the cost lowAfter they merge with M1, i think they will have sustainable customer base, i doubt that they will do such promotions. Never see SingTel, M1 or Starhub doing such campaign in the previous years.
Wah!! Any shop can do? The Service Center not near me
actually since day 1Oh. Now they expanded to other bengz shops too? Previously yesterday, they only allow top-ups at service centres.
Simba wants to lock in existing customer base for sure in this promo to retaliate ST MVNOs recent offer. At the same time, they cannot overdo at the expense of slashing too much 50% revenue. A tough balance to juggle with.I believe Simba can't afford to keep the promotion for many. That's why for show they use this restriction on the limit to keep the cost low
i mean for this special 60 free 60 promo. i thought they say only at service centres only?actually since day 1
Indeed a messy campaign, it is also very sad to see youngsters mocking seniors cannot stand during MRT trips but can queue for hours on such promo.Disappointed with Simba this time round. If they r sincere, they’d have allowed top up online as well and at all hours. Making people to queue at such short specific time slot is cruel, especially if the queue is super long and involves old people.
it’s true tho. can’t stand on bus/mrt for a few stops, can’t return trays after eating. but can queue for hours for promos and freebies and sgpools.Indeed a messy campaign, it is also very sad to see youngsters mocking seniors cannot stand during MRT trips but can queue for hours on such promo.![]()
